About Antaya

I am a very loving and understanding person, a good listener for both the patient and family members. I'm quick to learn what to do and not to do. As a 17 year old I am very well mannered. What has attracted me to become a caregiver was watching my older friends and family members who were caretakers, take their love and help families through a difficult time period. I most enjoy spending time with older ones and listening to their life stories it's always fascinating and sometimes funny. My favorite personal achievement would be receiving my CPR and first aide certifications.

With this job and school courses I've learned how to change bedding with patient still in the bed, dress and grooming with modesty. Giving medication such as insulin shots. Checking vitals and weight and some physical therapy exercises to keep up strength. I am also good with keeping their nutritional intakes the same and as the doctor prescribes. I can work with the blind and hearing impaired.
