I became what I consider a caregiver because I love helping people in any way that I possibly can, and I love being a caregiver because I know I make a difference by providing care for those who need it, I currently work at a group home for those who suffer with Cerebral Palsy, and my greatest achievement is knowing that thanks to me my clients are safe and well nourished. I make a difference by the things I do such as bathing them, feeding them, walking them, doing active treatment with them, and by giving them meds. Accordingly. Ita been my dream to become a nurse, not really sure in what area yet but I know that caring for people like oI do makes me a better person and I feel really good about myself.

I am a soft hearted person. I always believe that I can fix the world and make everything better. I always go above and beyond to help everyone even if it means I stay without. What made me become a caregiver was when my dad was in a recovery home and a patient next to him had no one to visit him and he was so sad. He said to me, "I wish I had a daughter like you". After finding out he had no one, I told him "You just got one". The smile and happiness on his face did it for me. I gave love, hug him and took little things to him he liked. Sadly he passed about 1 month later. That is the reason I love not like being a caregiver. To give love and happiness at their time of need. My personal achievement that I am so proud of is writing and completing my book. I am a Domestic Violence survivor and my book tells my story. I am also proud and happy that I worked for 10 years working for ACTOR AND WRITER MR. SIDNEY REZNICK until he passed in 2004. I hope when I finally get it published, it can help someone. I love to help and care for defenseless people and give them as much love and happiness I can. I have been working as a caregiver for the past 15 years.
