Hello! If you are wondering why I am looking for a caregiver/companion position after the positions I've held in the past it is because I love working with the senior population. I became a stay-at-home mom in 2002 and I would like to re-enter the work force part-time working directly with the people that need me. I have been doing private companion care on the side and have experience with Alzheimer's, dementia and hospice care. I love doing therapeutic activities to keep seniors' bodies and brains active. I value their life stories and love to learn from them as well. I am primarily interested in companion care as I am unable to do heavy lifting.
