It all stared when I was 13 years old my grandmother had dementia. I hope take care of her during this summer, and came back every weekend to be with her.. I love a challenge. I love people. I've been doing home health care on and off for the last 10 years.

I started off taking care of my husband's grandmother in her home at first I was scared because I never done it before but after a few months it was the most amazing job I could ever have! It gave me a chance to get to know the patient and spend time with them learn their ways of living but the best thing I loved about it was listening to her life story it was so incredible after 6 months she passed away and it was the hardest thing about that job but I felt so good to be there for her and help her with anything she needed!! After that I fell in love with the idea of being a caregiver so I started a career in the health care field I started working when my daughter was 8 months old and have been a caregiver every since ...I love the elderly and when you get to know these people you learn that most the time you are all they have they look for you to take care of them to come see them spend time with them love them like they are your own family cause really I feel like we're all they have being a caregiver is the best thing anyone can do its an amazing feeling to be able to love other people they become your family!! And I wouldn't want it any other way

Hello! I am very compassionate and love to help people. I am interested in being a caregiver as I understand wanting to keep your loved ones in their own space while still receiving great care. I love spending time with people and making them feel important. I know a lot of times when someone is no longer able to do things for themselves it can cause them to become depressed and so I love to make make it known they still have a purpose.

When I was a bit younger my grandmother had a stroke so me and my mother was forced to take care of her I learned a lot about taking care of people who can't do for themselves I love helping people who aren't always able to take care of themselves as well
