Hi my name is Gloria Martinez. I have been a caregiver since 2012. I love my job and consider all my clients as Gods gifts to him. I care deeply for them and I have always treated them respectfully and try to make them comfortable in their days of their lives. I have gotten appraisals from my clients family on how I treated their loved ones, they say they will never forget Ms Gloria's treatment towards them. It melts my heart that the families see and hear from their parents how I treated their loved ones. I relay the generousity to my company but all I get is a heart emoji. Caregiving is my calling, because my love grows deeper and deeper in what I choose to do till I can't do no more. My clients have taught me as I have cared for . them. I need them as much as they need me.

I lovingly took care of my elderly mother-in-law for 5 years in my home. She was my sidekick and best friend. I assisted her with every facet of aging. I helped her with bathing, diaper changes, grooming, turning, mobility, entertainment, and I was there with her through every hospital stay and in her final days on hospice at home. I am glad I was able to give her the dignity and respect she deserved and I love that I was able to keep her at home where she wanted to be.

Hi, I'm Jennifer! My previous background in healthcare started in 2007 when I worked for the Kidney Transplant Director at Baptist Med Center in Little Rock, AR. I transferred to the Women's Clinic at Baptist Health Springhill. I helped patients get ready for mammograms and assisted with surgical procedures. After 5 years at Baptist Health , I was recruited to assist the Financial Controller at an HVAC company where I stayed almost 9 years. I missed working in the health care industry and signed on with an Orthopedic DME company where I assisted patients post op in their home or hospital rooms with 'hands on' set up of CPM machines (continuous passive motion) DVTs and cold therapy either the day of, or day after surgery. Being a care taker is extremely fulfilling for me. I am also a part time professional fine artist and have been in several local art galleries.

Some years back, my late husband was diagnosed with ALS and I became his primary caregiver. Years later as I decided not to continue working in retail, I became a phlebotomist and realized how much I enjoyed Patient Care, and realized how much compassion I felt for patients and their families and realized how much I enjoyed that kind of work. I transferred to a training program to become a Patient Care Technician. I worked in that capacity for several months. I loved my job but found that I would prefer working in a home setting or somewhere where more individual attention can be paid to patients.Although hospitals provide excellent care, there is usually pressure to spend as little time as possible interacting with patients and their families. Sometimes there is a need for more individual attention and patients may benefit greatly from that attention. I currently work one on one as a caregiver and find greater satisfaction from this than I did when there was so much pressure to spend less time with each patient.

I'm 24 years old currently a student at the University of Arkansas Little Rock. I've only been doing CNA work for about a year and half but I have turkey fell in love with it. I wish i could change my major to nursing but I am at the finished line and I will be going back to school to major in nursing.

I currently serve as the Controller of finance, I will not be leaving and therefore will be unavailable to physically work during normal business hours Monday-Friday (7-4pm). A highly self motivated and compassionate individual. I am confident that I will surpass any expectations for home care. I have dealt with any situation possible within my home care background. I do not stress, nor am I drama filled...live moves forward with creative willpower and a positive mindset.

I owned my own business for years as well as worked for the Government for several years. I left corporate America behind to peruse my passion for medicine. When my daughter was born a month early, she had some medical issues that came up. After years of dealing with doctors and specialist constant changes in her medical treatment I started to research different treatments on my own and decided to go into the medical field. I still have a love for business, but being apart of a team that provides medical attention and compassion makes me want to do it each day.

I believe everyone should be cared for with respect and dignity and a degree of comfortability. I try to care for my clients and treat them as if it were my mom or grandma or grandpa etc. that I am caring for. The highest level of respect are given to the elderly because they have most definitely earned it and just because their bodies won't allow them to be self sufficient doesn't mean they great treated poorly in my eyes. I believe they should feel like they are being pampered when cared for and enjoy the rest of their life in the comfort of their own homes not some nursing home where they don't receive one on one care around the clock. I was all my clients to feel dignified and secure and know that I will see to it they get the nutrition and healthcare they very much deserve in the comfort of their own home. I exercise their minds by playing games or puzzles and coloring for those who can't get around much. I assist in their spiritual guidance by reading scriptures if they so desire. I clean house and assist in their personal hygiene and am an excellent companion. I can run errands with or for my client. I'll make sure your family is treated like my family and take the worry off your mind.

I went to school to become a social worker because it's considered a helping profession. Taking care of people and offering companionship is what makes me thrive. I've done cna work before and found it to be a rewarding experience to share in the lives of others and truly make a difference. Adding my past experience, along with my degree will truly help me connect to my dreams of reaching out and helping those who are vulnerable in the community.

I have been in the corporate world for about 10 years but began my working career as the director of a childhood enrichment center.
