I am a recently separated US Army Veteran with a specialty in Intelligence. Throughout my brief separation time I have been blessed to continue to assist my ailing Great-Grandmother with many of her needs before she became too ill to stay in the home. I enjoyed providing companionship, reading, and giving my time to another human being, even if she couldn't remember my presence the following day. When career searching, my mind always comes back to being able to do for others, especially for those who have done so much already.

I grew up in a household of medical care providers and was raised to put the needs of others before my own. I have extensive experience and understanding of many different diseases and disabilities and have taken care of family members with behavioral health issues and medical problems for many years and have no problem accommodating my patients unique needs. Hello, my name is Evelina and I have previous work experience as a certified nursing assistant in a skilled nursing facility. I became a CNA when I was a junior in high school. In addition to that, I had a bedridden grandmother whom I was very close to and would often help take care of. Caregiving is something I am incredibly passionate about. To me, the most special thing about caregiving is not the money or being able to say I helped somebody, its about the bond I grow with my patient as we become family!

Hi! My name is Nicole! I am pursuing a degree in Speech Therapy and desire to work with older adults that need speech and hearing rehabilitation services. Currently, I am pursuing my undergraduate requirements to continue my Master's degree in Speech Therapy. I have cared for elderly in the past and have always enjoyed my them as friends! I became a caregiver because I love people and i like to care for them. When I was growing up I saw that the older generation didn't get a lot of attention or caring that they deserved. They have so many stories, and are so fun to be around that I thought to make it a life choice and a career.

I became a care giver because since I was little I wanted to be a Nurse, and when I started looking information about nursing I thought it was a ecellent way to start my nursing career, and it was, i been a CNA for 8 years and still working on my RN degree. I think what makes me a great caregiver is that I care about my patients and their well beeing, I treat them how i gould like my family to be treated.

I have a lot of compassion for other people. I've always been the person to drop what I'm doing and help out or give the shirt off of my back. I really enjoy the personal connections I can develop through being a caregiver and the difference I can make in another person's quality of life. I am a very flexible person and easy to negotiate with. I spent my senior year of high school obtaining my CNA certification in which I discovered my love for caring for others. I also already have my fingerprint clearance card through the Dept. of Public Safety provided through my CNA class. I am also first aid, CPR, and AED certified.
