Wanted to get into the field because I enjoy helping people and I have a natural income ation to take care of people when they are sick or healthy. I do enjoy the companion aspect of the job providing care to people cooking for them, helping them do things around the house, I also enjoyed other aspects of my job such as working with the computer doing electronic charting other aspects of documentation, overall enjoy all aspects of the job, except when other people do not contribute their weight because it means the health and safety of the patients

I am newly retired and am looking for a part time job that will enable me to interact and contribute to a family in need. I am able to manage daily basic personal care, assist with medicine, housekeeping and transporting to doctor appointments. I look forward to meeting new people, learning their stories and creating a safe and nurturing environment. I am reliable, motivated, and eager to share with you my caregiver skills. I am also flexible and able to adjust my schedule to meet my client's needs. I was the main caregiver to my father-in-law and enjoyed spending time with him, listening to his stories, cooking, cleaning, medicine prep, and transporting him to doctor appointments.

I have already had a background check that I can provide. I was raised with my grandparents and just loved them. I was basically around elders which were my grandparent's friends and relatives. My grandmother became I'll and I took care of her in the hospital until she passed on. I always felt that I related more with elders than I did with anyone else enjoying listening to stories and about their lives. Myself and my 2 daughters volunteered at an assisted living facility in Glendale. When I go on vacations to Idaho I stay at an assisted living facility visiting a dear friend. I always hang out in the front lobby enjoying everyone's company and would help with their dogs taking them out to go to the bathroom and for walks. I really enjoy dogs and cats.
