I have my Certified Caregiving and Certified Nurse Assistant (and PCT) License for 9 years now. I am currently working as A CNA providing care to immigrants that need to quarantine but my job there will be ending soon mid December 2023. I began gaining experience in caregiving, assisted living, rehabilitation centers and have done 3 years night shift at St.Joseph's hospital. I am now in school to receive my bachelors as a Registered Nurse. I have a passion to strive for the care and needs of others as if they are apart of my own family. I also strive to develop trust with not only the patient but the family to always ensure excellent care and respect.

Most people assume that being a Caregiver is easy, the position is easy when an individual has an ethical value and meaningful purpose within the bounds of this position. One has to express a great level of empathy and patience. I'm motivated, ambitious, and passionate, I have great interpersonal, communication, and work-ethic skills. I made a year in college as of November, 2022 and I also made the dean list, which was a great achievement.

I am an energetic, kind, and compassionate person who has dedicated the last 12 years to helping seniors age in place. Although my bachelor's degree from the University of Arizona is in Nursing/Biology, I pursued other career opportunities for much of my professional life. I returned to hands-on care 12 years ago because of the deep satisfaction I feel when I help a family honor their loved one's decision to remain at home, living as independently as possible. I am highly organized and I excel at coordinating all aspects of care, which enables family members to attend to their careers and commitments. I have experience as a Care Manager, hiring, training, and managing a caregiving team for a family that needed 24 hour care for their father. I believe that it is everyone's right to age with dignity and that life experience should be respected and cherished. I became a care giver when I saw a lack in resources and care options for my own parents. Hello, and thank you for reading my introduction. I am a person that is always aware of my surroundings and works to make wherever I am a safe and happy space. After a successful nursing career, I began teaching and find that I really enjoy both education and caring for those who need assistance to continue safely and happily in their environment. My greatest achievement would be raising my children to be productive, honest and contributing members of society.

Ever since I was little I always knew I wanted to work in the medical field so that I could help others. My dream is in the process of becoming a reality as I am currently in a Doctor of Physical Therapy program in Goodyear, AZ. My passion for ameliorating people's lives through movement and lifestyle modification has led me to where I am today. As a future PT, I am so grateful to have chosen a career path that allows quality time with patients and offers a more well rounded approach to health. I am proud of myself to have made it this far, and can't wait to graduate in May 2020 as a licensed PT. My past work experiences include working at a skilled nursing facility as an intern, and working in a retirement home as a fitness technician. Working at a SNF allowed me to interact with a variety of geriatric patients, including many comorbidities, in order to maintain quality of life and optimize their mobility. Since I am a student with a fluctuating schedule, I thought a perfect way to practice my developed skills and help pay for school was to become a caregiver. :)

Hello, my name is Emma and I am currently a Senior at the University of Arizona studying Physiology and Sports Nutrition, though I will be graduating this coming May. I am a State and Nationally Registered EMT and BLS-CPR Certified. I am looking to go to medical school in the next few years and I have a special interest in primary and palliative care. Becoming a caregiver would be a wonderful way to learn about the ins and outs of patient care as a whole and what it means to be an empathetic and attentive provider. I have a very high attention to detail, I emphasize strong communication, and I am an empathetic and loyal caregiver. I do my best to build a strong connection and rapport with families and I genuinely have a deep interest into the care and well-being of those who I will be caring for. I am a quick learner and I am able to take initiative, which will serve me well in my caregiving role.

I had a child that was in the Albuquerque Burn Center for a year; to be able to care for him I earned a nursing certificate. I used this knowledge to care for him, and subsequently, several seniors over the years. I enjoy being able to help seniors stay in their homes until the end of their life. I have taught handicapped children and adults how to swim for over 35 years. I was a foster parent for ten years and adopted my first foster child; my daughter adopted my last foster child. I was, also Chief Judge for elections in Ada County for 22 years.

I am a photographer, and a student at the University of Arizona. To help fund my studies I began my own business as a personal assistant. I truly enjoy helping others to stay happy, organized and active, so I decided a career doing so would be truly gratifying!

I have been a full time caregiver for eight years. I love working with seniors, their families, and their pets. I love taking care of clients, their homes, their needs, and their pets. I have a clean background check and I am first aid and CPR certified. I am also very experienced in childcare. I have over ten years experience as a nanny. I have done both live in and live out work. I have 12 units of early childhood credit. I have 3 years experience as an aide in a Montessori school and I successfully home schooled my two boys through the 8th grade. My oldest is currently attending Colorado School of Mines and my youngest is set to graduate high school this year. I am available for most any shift, including over nights.
