Hi there! My name is Mary I have been hospice aid for about 12 years now , I love the occupation, my goal as a caregiver is making my pts feel loved and cared about, I want them to be as comfortable as possible , it Brings joy to my eyes when I see my patients happy, as I know I am doing my job! I get the job done CNA for 5 years.

I am compassionate.

Outgoing, caring, reliable. My mother was sick for a long time so I made that my mission to help others. Finding out about people and their likes and dislikes. Making them feel comfortable. I love making lasting friends with the people I've cared for and their families.

I am a very empathetic and compassionate person. I'm very friendly and a true people person. I believe that our elders should be treated with love and respect and they shouldn't feel like they are a burden. I enjoy helping others and I want to help families take care of their loved ones. I have an extremely nurturing personality. I am a mother of three wonderful children, they are now adults but they are still my babies and I have recently been blessed with my first grandchild. I love serving others and that is why caregiving is so rewarding to me. I am proud to say that I have extended my family as I have build close relationships with those Ive cared for, and I hope to build a close relationship with your loved one and your family.

What attracted to you being a caregiver? We all need someone starting from when you're parents hold you and as we age we still want to be needed and care for so to me what attracted me to caregiving is hope I hope someday someone will take the time I took and cared for someone and pay it forward to me. What do you enjoy most about being a caregiver? Meeting new friends and learning so much from them. What is a personal achievement you are proud of? The ability to accomplish my goals that I set, for myself. For for an example, my associates degree and bachelors in Human Resources administration and business.

I am reliable, friendly, nurturing, knowledgeable. I have been a caregiver for the last 7 years, going to nursing school attracted me to caregiving. The most I enjoy about being a caregiver is the reward of being helpful to families and being a relief that families and clients can rely on. My recent personal achievement that I am proud of is, I am a Certified Dementia Practioner as of Feb. 2024.

I have a great sense of humor I'm very positive, patient, understanding, flexible, loving and caring. Being able to help someone who cants help them selfs as well as they use to. Being able to help someone stay at home where they belong, allowing a family member the comfort of knowing their elderly family member is in good hands. Stories, I love life stories. the wisdom they can share with me is treasureless, I also like to keep my clients active , I want to be able to have them do the things they enjoyed doing when they cared for them selfs, hobbies, socializing, senior centers, crafts, movies, plays, musicals, playing cards, estate sales, luncheons, dinner parties, bridge club, bingo. Having my clients tell me thank you I had so much fun. Having their close friends and family members tell me they hadn't seen them smile this much in years, Being able to have them stay at home where they are most comfortable until their time.

A little something about me I like my job being recognized because when I work with my patients I give it all I got not just hands on but make them feel their safe and well taken care of . I'm loving caring Cna I have 18 years experience I worked at hospital and nursing rehab and acute care and subacute care centers.

I am a great Caregiver beacause i treat each person as if they were my family. I wanted to become a caregiver beacause of my grandpa who passed years ago i took care of him and it opened my heart to do as i did for him to others. The most thing i love about be a caregiver is hearing the stories of their past, how their lives were before. My personal achievement im proud of is walking out the door knowing i did everything to make that person feel more comfortable more loved and more safe.

Hello. I'm working in a assisted living home right now. Trying to look for something in the afternoon or evening shift. Or I can work weekends in the daytime. I like to help others and I honestly think helping others is a good deed in life and you get blessing from it. I'm really nice and very friendly to others.
