What sets me apart from other care givers is my years of experience and dedication to my patients. I take pride in getting to know my patients and treating each of them as the unique individual that they are. While caring for my patients, I dedicate 100% of my time to their care. My goal is to provide a nurturing, caring, and healing environment for each of my patients . Throughout my many years of experience as a CNA I have had the pleasure of working with a wide variety of patients working through many different health issues including (but not limited to), dementia, hip and knee replacements, heart-related issues, diabetes, and GI feeding tubes. As part of my home health care services I provide patient medication management, meal planning, shopping and errands, doctor appointments and pet care. I am a professional with a friendly disposition. I am a punctual person with a strong work ethic. I respect my patients, their families, and their property. I took care of 90 year old lady for 5 years live-in I am very compassionate and kind We enjoyed making greeting cards and playing cards together.

I currently work part time at Katella deli in Los Alamitos. Prior to that I worked at Marie Callenders restaurant for 7 years. I left them to care for my terminally ill grandmother. She has since passed away. My goal is to do licensed in home care. I enjoy helping people feel independent and well cared for.

Meeting new people and providing caregiving to those That they can no longer do for themselves. I enjoy the opportunity to impact clients lives and make a difference to them. It is a joy to assist people to be able to live in their own home. Seeing a smile of appreciation over just a small deed that I do. trustworthy, dependable, punctual, preparing meals, assisting bathroom, mobility, companionship, medication and etc.

I believe I am a great caregiver because I have taken care of my grandfather for the 2 years who is an Alzheimer patient. I am currently working towards completing my LVN license and have worked in many facilities with different types of patients such as, Alzheimer's and Dementia, Mental Health, Respiratory Care and Long Terms Care. I believe in taking care of each patient in a unique manner because each patient's needs are different. I also believe in taking care of each patient like the were family this allows for the best care to be given and a level of patience that is created, which allows for optimal care.

I took care of my grandmother when she was dying of cancer and because of that experience I decided to go back to school to be a nurse. I enjoyed the feeling of knowing I was able to make a difference. I completed the LVN program last November and is currently studying for my state board exam.

I believe I'm a great caregiver because of my experience and size. I have being doing this kind of work for 11 years and have encountered many different patients with a variety of ailments. My size is also a benefit, I am 6'7'' and weigh 270lbs so I have the ability to handle larger patients if need be. I became a caregiver on the recommendation of a RN that was on my very first assignment I was on, an assignment I was on in a Fill in capacity. What I like about being a caregiver is that I enjoy helping people, especially staying in their homes as opposed to a hospital or facility. I think my greatest achievement is that on two occasions I have saved peoples lives, both people had seizures and I had the knowledge and ability to administer aid.
