My name is Judith. I'm a CNA since 2014 and a caregiver since 2012. I first wanted to be a doctor but changed my mind and I'm now trying to be a nurse and in the meantime I'm gaining experience in the field. I like being a caregiver because I serve people while making a big difference in their life. I help people who really can't help themselves and knowing that makes me feel fulfilled. I'm really proud of how much I've learned in a short period of time. I've learned a lot from everyone around me: colleagues, nurses, families, patients, etc.

Caring and kind, love to help out and be of service to others

My father was a caregiver for 20 yrs... taking care of people with disabilities....he always had a lot of patience for kids and elderly.... I grew up watching him helping others.... I was younger like 23 yrs older when started to work as a facility and was taking care of 12 ladies...they all had different health problems... paralyze half of the body.... Alzaimer... Parkinson's disease... dementia... respiratory problems with oxygen all day... depression and one with very bad skin problems....woke up @ 4 a.m to get myself ready and then check the ladies...give them a shower while my companion lady will prepare breakfast we both have them medication accordingly I never thought I would have the patience to do it but I did and couldn't help it... I got attached to all of them...it requires different type of care for each individual...but it was like having a lot of grandmas by my side...

I enjoy working with people most and enjoy job ia have one-on-one caregiving job can be particularly rewarding because the relationships that I develop are long term meaningful it is also about bringing joy to someone's life when I help someone else feel good, it makes me fell good. too. the most that made me the most proud was when elderly woman that i took care of on hospice responded to my love fo her. Her family said that she had not been outside of bed in over a month. but she got out of bed for me and let her take her out to backyard. she enjoyed. family were so happy to see their Mother out and I was happy too.

Helping seniors with stuff they need makes me a great caregiver. Also be respectful to them, make them feel like home. I always saw elderly struggle with some stuff and i'm like it would be nice to help them . I'm that type of person who loves helping people. What I most enjoy of being a caregiver is helping with there needs. And making feel happy as much as I could. A personal achievement that i'm proud of is making the elderly happy, and helping people as much as a I could. Also working hard for my kids and get them to somewhere grate.

Hello my name is Simon Garnica I really love what I do , helping and caring is something that comes very naturally for me . I am very patient do not have a problem of having to stay extra just to help. Very observant with patients making sure they are safe and healthy as possible. My greatest achievement is when I go to work and the patients tell me how glad they are to see me.

I became a caregiver because I love to help people. I also got inspired to become one because I used to take care of my mother. I'm 23 years old and I'm going to school to become a registered nurse and to further my career in the medical field.

Hello everyone, my name is Adriana and I am seeking an opportunity to work with elders. I have worked with children my whole life, and am now a mom myself. I cared for my mother and mother in law who has MS. I love to help and make them feel good about themselves. Interaction and satisfaction are key. I am willing to do anything they need while I am caring for them. I work well with people, and am very understanding of their needs. Looking to care for a senior in need in the afternoons/evenings. Currently I am a stay at home mom during the day but seeking a job at the time dad comes home. Anytime from 3pm - 11pm. I am available Monday - Friday. Would love to help a family or elder in need. I worked as a dialysis technician for 2 years. I am a very compassionate caregiver. I enjoy making my patients feel comfortable and lightening up their day.

While taking care of my 96 yr old grandmother I realized I liked care-giving. I respect the dedication and patience it requires. I have over 15 yrs in corporate sales but find care giving way more rewarding. I have experience with dementia, stroke, depression, COPD, asthma, and high blood pressure. I pride myself on being clean, patient, and respectful. I am available anytime and have my own vehicle. I don't mind cooking and meal prep. I am a good cook with a preference in cooking Mexican food. I have ordered my background check and it is due any day.

I am outgoing, like fitness, play pickleball and badminton. I care about other people's feelings and have a dedication. I am kind, have a good sense of humor, good listener, like to communicate and easy to get along with. These personality traits have enabled me to build good relationships with almost all of the people I serve and have helped me become a good caregiver. The main thing that attracted me to becoming a caregiver was that I nursed my mom for two years, which was the happiest time I spent in my life, it prompted me to fall in love with this profession and have done private care for more than 10 people so far. What I enjoy most as a caregiver is being needed, or being genuinely needed, and it feels really good. What I am most proud of is that not only during the service period, but also after the service period, I remain friends with the people I serve and their families, and some even become relatives, which gives me a great sense of accomplishment.
