Hello I have been in the nursing field for 18 years. I have worked mostly at nursing homes. I have also worked as a home health assistance. I love working with the people and thier families. I enjoy spending time with my patients. I am a people person and also very professional. I'm a hard worker and a honest person.

I was drawn to caregiving as I watched others and helped out before it was my official job, I don't see it as a job and enjoy helping and interacting with the elderly and building a bond with my clients and on-going relationships with my client's families, I still keep in contact with some today. I am a natural at providing companionship because of how much I enjoy interaction with people and the importance of human relationships, the insight I get from the diverse individuals I get to work with helps me learn on the job and provides a fulfilling career filled with friendships I make along the way and clients that stuck with me long after I was no longer working for them. I care deeply for my clients and make it my priority to treat them, rightly, as a human, rather than just a job.

I'm known to be the most loving and compassionate person. Other people say I'm the most thoughtful and generous person. I'm also big hearted and loving. I love giving to others helping. I enjoy giving and caring for others because they make my day better by giving me love back and interacting with them in daily activities. Their smile is gratifying. Personal achievement being on my 90 days and on my second day on the job got employee of the month.

Hello , my name is Katie and I'm 33 yrs old I'm currently not working but am definitely looking forward to providing in home care services for somone in need. What lead me to want this type of work was when my GMA passed away ,she was 90 and lived by herself she had a brain anarizeam that erupted .I got called to go check on her cause she wasn't answering her phone and ended up finding her on floor not able to get up I was the last one she spoke to or seen by the time we got out of ambulances she was already non responsive. I hold alot of guilt I feel that if she had these kinds of serives or me around more it might of been prevented so since then I've decided to dedicate myself to help others who need care .what I enjoy about being a caregiver is knowing that my assistants is helping others in there time of need I feel that I'm a very caring person and self motivated .with that being said i hope to be meeting u soon

I started caregiving for the job experience and ended up loving it. I enjoy being a caregiver for the reason that i help others when they need that extra hand and treat them how i would like to be treated if or when i need help in the future.
