I became a caregiver because I love and enjoy the work I do. I consider myself to be a compassionate, professional, responsible, and reliable person. Working with elderly people makes my job extremely rewarding. I find a deep sense of satisfaction something hard to find in any other job. Their stories are the best as well as their pictures. It is a big satisfaction knowing that I can make a difference in their lives.

I believe what makes me a great caregiver is that I'm passionate about taking care of people and knowledgeable of the medical field. After a taking care of a family member with cancer, I fell in love with the science and with the compassion of the field. Hourly Rate may be adjusted!

I am a experienced Vocational Nurse, with experience working in surgery as a surgical Tech. I have experience caring for dementia and Alzheimer's clients, as well as clients with multiple ailments. I focus on the client as a whole, and I pay strict attention to detail. I cook, clean, and do my best to follow my clients normal everyday routine so that life feels as close to normal as possible. I am a patient, calm, great listener and detail oriented companion. I understand that aging is not always graceful, however, helping someone maintain their dignity, privacy and pride is important. Especially when they are unable to maintain these things on their own. I believe that a healthy diet, environment, and activities help to balance out the mind, body, heart and soul. I am a firm believer in "if you don't move it, you lose it", so I do my best to keep my clients moving. Mentally and physically. I enjoy caring for others. Heart, mind, body and soul. Empathy is important in understanding the need of others. The vitality of others is important to me.

What makes me a great caregiver is I take a personal joy in helping others also I'm reliable and very prompt with time. I put others need first and will do my absolute best in making sure there cared for. I became a caregiver because I love helping people also my grandmother has alzheimers and I know first hand it takes a lot to make sure there okay and have patience and I wouldn't know how to feel if my grandmother didn't have that help from a kind person. I have several years of experience in this field also I've currently just finished my lvm program waiting to take my exit exam.

I am a loving and caring person who would be honored to care for your loved ones , like if they were my family and love ones. I am CPR and First Aid trained with medical knowledge . I am also certified as a Medical Assistant. Bilingual in English/ Spanish. A mother of a child with disabilities.

I enjoy caring for other been a caregiver most of my life. I have a lot of patience. I'm always 100 percent for my client. I wanted them to always feel safe.

Being a caregiver takes alot of patience and alot of respect. I started being a caregiver because I believe the elderly are so wise, they have so much to say. And of course because I love to take care of others, and like to see them smile because they know they will always have me (caregiver) to keep them company. I started off as a volunteer, and I remember hearing all different kinds of stories of the patient(s) past lifes, and what they did for careers, just amazed me and made me want to be more involved. After then, I knew being a caregiver was a great path, and from being in this field it made me want to stay in the medical field. So I take this as a stepping stone into my career of a soon to be medical assistant!

Even before I can remember I knew I wanted to be a nurse. As my mother got ill and needed care I was one of the four of my siblings to step forward and show her love and companionship with care. At the time I wasn't certified nor did I have training it was a learning process. After she passed I decided to begin my journey into the medical field. I am a current CNA studying for LVN, I strongly believe that its not just about the care but about the connection you build with your patient. With a bond the care is with higher quality. Everyone needs the right love, care and companionship.

Currently I am attending an LVN program at Glendale Career College. I am a compassionate, driven, and caring person. Nursing is definitely a career I want to pursue, it's a job that allows me to help others in may different ways. Patient Care is tough but a rewarding area of expertise and everyone deserves excellent patient care.

I've always loved helping and caring for people ever since I was a small child. Especially with older people because I find them to be fascinating ! it's like opening a book to learn. It's quite interesting the stories you hear from older people as well as humbling. I've always tried to put myself in my clients shoes in the aspect of how it must feel to have your world change and how to adapt with the new changes. At the end of the day my goal is to care with compassion !

I am a passionate caregiver who loves to help others. I've been helping people since the late 80's and decided that helping people was my calling so I decided to become a Certified Nurse Assistant in the early 90,s, also I have worked with people with alzheimer's, dementia, developmentally disabled adults/children in short and long term care facility. I am persistent, reliable, and work well with others.

I became a CNA , because i love helping others. It is very rewarding to know you can make someone elses life a lot easier and comfortable. I am a person that believes treat other like you would like to be treated and how more to expressing by helping people who need assistance on a everyday.

I became a caregiver because I love working with people less fortunate than I am. I enjoy getting people back to their adjusted daily living or make them comfortable through their last transition of life. I am a Surgical Technologist but I prefer being a home nurse as appossed to the OR.

My name is Erin Ayers, LVN, current RN student. Thriving to be a big influence in the health and education field. My career goal is to become a nurse practitioner ( NP ) my main goal in life is to be a success, growing and growing through all my life's experiences. I was extremely grateful to have experienced being a caregiver to a 99 year old wonderful woman who taught me so much about life. She passed away right after her 100th birthday. I took that experience and her wisdom within me. I then went on to become a veterinarian assistant for my love of animals. After my few years experience there, I became a caregiver for adults with mental and physical disabilities. From there worked for LAUSD, working with kids with autism and other mental disorders. I am a Valedictorian LVN graduate, passed the NCLEX and now looking for work to enhance my skills. I am a quick fast pace learner and can adapt to any situation or career opportunity. I value and feel very grateful to be caring and helping others in need.

Have always been a caregiver since I was a little girl I cared for my little sister while my mother went to work herself being a caregiver I have learned a lot from her we are generation of caregivers. I love caring for the elder and disabled its very rewarding to me. I have cared for lots of patients and have seen lots of them come back to life with my care when they are recently out of the hospital or recuperating from a stroke or fall. I'm a very caring and compassionate person, I love to read, exercise, go tot the movies, love going to eat at restaurants, I enjoy family time and being with my loved ones.

I care about people and helping them on every day activities, even the smallest accomplishment can make the client feel great and I'm happy to be the one to help them. I Like helping those who need it, which is why I'm also finishing nursing school to take that extra step and help them as much as possible later on in the future!
