I have worked at a skilled facility for the past 6 years, I love my Job but they recently are under a switch over and so I want to move on. Hello, My name is been ChristinaSuarez. I am 34 years old, married with 3 girls. I have been in the medical field for 13 years now. I have my Medical Assistant diploma. I have been a caregiver for 6 years now. I became a caregiver in June of 2012. I was my father's caregiver for 4 years before he passed away in early 2016. As time passed on I new that caregiving was my calling. I went back to work as a caregiver. I love being a caregiver for the simple fact that I don't see it as a job I see it as a career and that I am helping others in all that they need and also helping their families in a time of need. I live with my son and his fiance and 2 grandaughters. I went to Apollo College in 1989-1990, for the Respiratory Therapist Tech. , and worked for quite awile doing home set ups, Ventilator Support, Apnea Monitors, Liquid 02 set ups. I got into caregiving and went thru Complete Comfort Care school to take care care of my sister, who has numerous problems. I love it, and always treat the patient with the utmost dignity and respect they deserve. Im very easy going, Im a very clean person, I like to be organized, and cook and clean very well.

My first time caregiving was at 18 yrs of age for a senior home where I helped care for Alzheimer's patients and led daily activities. What makes me a great caregiver is that it's apart of my nature and who I am. I want to be able to make someone's day better whether that's helping cook a nutricious and delicious meal, cleaning up around the house to make someone feel more at ease in their home, driving them to appointments, or just there to chat about the day while making a cup of tea.
