Having my mom sick with cancer and loosing her made me more understandable,more patient,more loving and made me stronger. A patient, especially elderly need constant care and attention. What attracted me to being a caregive was that alot of patients dont have someone to care for them or family dont want that responsibility and I want that to change. I want to help and care for others, make them feel supported and loved. I enjoy making patients feel secured, feeling loved, and being able to share our thoughts to one another. This is something that I love and enjoy doing and I am proud that I have qualifications gained.

I'm a responsible person and I have cared for others with disabilities. I enjoy helping others who need assistance and I enjoy working in the healthcare field. Since I was young I wanted to work in healthcare due to having a handicapped uncle how I help care for when he was I'll. I enjoy taking care of people who can no longer care for themselves. It really warms my heart when I can see them smile are happy and healthy. Also, to let them know that someone cares for them and wants to hear their stories. I have beautiful children whom I adore with all my heart along with seven grandchildren. I have been in the medical field for 20 years and what interested me on being a caregiver is my experience speaking to our hospice and palliative care members. I had an opportunity to go with a nurse to translate for a member and it made me realize that our elderly need company .
