I am very outgoing, I love being a caregiver. I am a good listener, I am also a provider for IHSS (In Home Supportive Services). I was my mother's live-in caregiver for over 7 years. I have also been a caregiver to 2 other individuals who had dementia. I am very familiar with hospice care also. I have a lot of patience, and always open to learn more. I am reliable. I LOVE BEING A CAREGIVER PRIOR YEARS BACK I. 2008 TO 2011 . MY CLIENT GOT DEMENTIA N THEN PASSED AWAY...ITS A GOOD JOB AS LONG AS EVERYTHING RUNS SMOOTHLY WITH NO PROBLEMS N IS EASY TO ACCOMMODATE MY SCHEDULE WITH MY SONS SCHOOL HOURS..I'VE ALWAYS LOVED BEING AROUND OLDER PEOPLE TO LISTEN TO THEIR STORIES N ALOT OF TIME WE ALSO LEARN FROM THEM.. MY PERSONAL GOAL IS THAT IM GREAT TO WORK WITH N IVE ACCOMPLISHED MY GOAL IN BEING A TRUCK DRIVER TILL I GOT UNFORTUNATELY INTO AN ACCIDENT N I WILL BE BACK HOPEFULLY DOING IT AGAIN IN A YEAR HOPEFULLY. I'M AN HONEST, DEPENDABLE N RELIABLE PERSON TO WORK WITH THE ELDERLY PEOPLE..

I became a caregiver because it's something that I'm very passionate about and have had a lot of experience with. I love being able to help others that may not be totally able to help themselves or simply needs a companion a listening ear and a good heart. I have been a caregiver since 2002 I love helping others and I treat them as family because that's they way you should.

I have been a caregiver for 5 years I started doing it because I enjoy helping others...And being able to make a difference in other people life's. The things that I enjoy about being a caregiver are having that certain bound with your patient ....One of my personal achievement would be that I am currently on the waiting list for a college for a nursing program. I am 26 years old a single mother very hard independent women always looking to succeed in life and move forward....I really enjoy taking care others and making a difference in other peoples lifes.

I became a Caregiver for my mother after her TIA stroke in 2001. I found it to be very rewarding in our relationship, becoming great friends. I enjoy being able to make a difference in one's daily quality of life and reaffirming their worth and value as an individual. As a Caregiver for a family, I was able to care for their loved one while they went on vacation for 1 week . They said they had such a peace of mind, knowing that I was caring for their mother and didn't have to worry. In my earlier years I was not always dependable, but grew in character as a Caregiver to esteem others and be reliable. As a Caregiver I am able to nurture someone without a condescending demeanor and give a listening ear with compassion and understanding.
