My name is Kenneth . I have over 8 years of experience as a caregiver in both residental homes and senior home facilities . My goal is providing an excellent quality of service in the areas of customer service, caregiving needs in all aspects of the client including, cooking, cleaning the house, administering medications, and taking care of all client needs including transportation and making each client feel comfortable on a daily basis. I am responsible, compassionate and highly motivated to help each client meet their personal needs and go above and beyond the call of duty. My experience as an in home caregiver includes taking care of many different types of clients including memory care, dementia and clients with limited mobility, wheel chair and special assistance needs such as using a catheter, lifting needs, continence care. I have CPR/ First Aid training and took over 40 relias training courses over a 3 year period. I also assist clients in changing their depends, changing into new clothes and bathing on a daily basis. I also focus on being positive and helping the clients to improve his/her self esteem and level of confidence and to partake in walks and other activities in the local community. I'm very patient, attentive, adaptable, reliable, and a strong communicator. These traits have helped me expand my expertise as a caregiver. Due to many personal experiences with taking care of my own family, it inspired me to provide the same care with others. Caregiving is a job that not everyone can do. It's a job that I enjoy doing and allows me to build a strong connection with those I'm taking care of. A personal achievement I am most proud of is during a situation where I noticed that my client had an infection all around his body and I immediately told the head caregiver. From that point, we put the client on isolation and took life precautions. Even though he was put on isolation, during my noctshift, I took care of him.

I feel that I would be a good caregiver because I am kind and compassionate and it is easy for me to work with people. I became a caregiver when a family member was disabled and was in need of care and saw that there is a real need for this to help others. What I liked about caregiving is that what I did to help others really gave them a better quality of life and helps them kept there ability to stay at home.

I have 10ys experience, I love my job, I believe the communication is the key, I'm compassionate and easy to follow orders, also I speak Spanish.

I've never been a caregiver but I've always wanted to be one. Im very friendly and kind hearted and love to help others. This will be a great job for me I'm very caring and love to work with all types of people. I can be a great employee. I get along with everyone.
