Hello, my name is Kenneth. I have over 8 years of experience as a caregiver in both residental homes and senior home facilities . My goal is providing a superior quality of service in the areas of customer service, caregiving needs in all aspects of the client including, cooking, cleaning the house, administering medications, ambulation assistance, transfers, fall risk care, bathing, toileting assistance, taking vital signs, transportation and maintaining a safe and clean environment. I am responsible, compassionate and highly motivated to help each client meet their personal needs and go above and beyond the call of duty. My experience as an in home caregiver includes taking care of many different types of clients including memory/dementia care, clients with limited mobility, wheel chair and special assistance needs such as using a catheter, lifting needs, continence care and emergency care. I have CPR/ First Aid training/certification and have taken over 80 specialized training courses over a 3 year period as well as background check clearance. I am fluent in English and Spanish and have a Bachelor's Degree in Education from San Diego State University. Thank you for your time. I feel that I would be a good caregiver because I am kind and compassionate and it is easy for me to work with people. I became a caregiver when a family member was disabled and was in need of care and saw that there is a real need for this to help others. What I liked about caregiving is that what I did to help others really gave them a better quality of life and helps them kept there ability to stay at home.
