I think what would help me become a better caregiver is by getting to know my patients more and things that the my like or don't like , I love to be a friendly person I like to learn new things and most importantly treat others the way I wanted be treated .

I am currently getting back into nursing school so I can become an LVN and make a career out of taking care of others. Possessing a nurturing nature, caregiving comes naturally to me. Also, I have been working in the personal care profession for quite some time now. I have a track record of providing elderly care and immensely enjoy each moment of work. to provide companionship. In addition, a caregiver provides assistance in activities of daily living such as personal hygiene, toileting assistance, feeding and changing, prescribed medicine administration, housekeeping and laundry. Caregiving is not just providing physical care it is also providing emotional support to them as they may be going through a traumatic physical or emotional phase in their lives That is why it is extremely important to me. They are in a very delicate stage of their lives and it is a must that they are happy and comfortable at all times !!
