Hi there! My name is Hunter Halter and I am 23 years old. Family means everything to me and I have and always will be supportive, dependable, and loving to the people in my life. I have cared for my grandpa, nannied for many families, and found a passion for caregiving. Because I seek fulfillment from a career, I want to truly make a positive change in peoples lives which caregiving gives me. I enjoy creating personal relationships with other people of all ages, learning about them as individual, and providing them with the upmost respect and care. I treat those as I would want someone to treat my own family member.

I just moved down to southern California about 4 months ago from The Bay Area. I'm very caring, understanding, and respectful. I truthfully don't have any experience in caregiving except for taking care of my Grandmother when i lived up north. I started helping her around the house since she's in a wheelchair. Little things here and there and mostly just company. I like to talk and listen to people and make them laugh. My grandmother has always told me how much she enjoys my company and how i look out for people. And i'm hoping to be of service to someone who truly needs it.

I am a very compassionate, energetic and organized person who thrives most when helping those in need. I began volunteering in the classroom for students with special needs during lunch and recess when I was in elementary school, and have been assisting others in need ever since. I have always considered being of help to those limited or incapable as a core value, but I wasn't sure exactly which direction to take professionally that would best utilize and nurture this gift. I've interned in various departments of the hospital including the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Medical Surgery, Renal/Diabetic, and much more, but it wasn't until I worked with my first terminally ill client that I found my passion. I have spent the last seven years working with hospice residents, and have felt quite fulfilled. I moved to Portland, Oregon in July of this year to transfer into Portland State University following my graduation this past May from community college and am working in a memory care facility with extra time to spare in hopes of connecting with other people in need of a caregiver.

I currently am a student studying Criminal Justice and Anthropology. I have been working as a caregiver for two years with various agencies such as Nurse Next Door and currently with Brightstar Care. I have worked with a wide variety of clients from bed bound to dementia to companion care. Services have included meal prep, bathing, transfers, etc. I am hard working, passionate and enjoy what I do.

I am a people person with compassion for others. I am a caretaker by nature. My grandmother had Alzheimer and I spent a lot of time with her during her struggles. I believe that sometimes seniors just need someone to listen and know that they are still important and relevant. I've worked in the retail world for years and have dealt with many older folks and really enjoy talking with them and listening to their stories. I do not have any formal training or experience working with seniors but I am capable and confidant that I would be a great companion and caregiver!

I am a passionate , considerate, loving person..Geriatric care is maybe my calling in life. I worked in the dental field as a registered dental asst..but I'm not happy. I went back to caregiving and I've never been happier.

I obtained an AA degree from the Pedagogical Russian College and Las Positas College, CA, USA; and currently I am working on completing an AA in Nursing. 4. I speak Russian, love nature and animals, enjoy being outdoors and gardening, and I am very passionate about my future nursing career.

Hello! I'm Danielle and I am 21 years old. I currently reside in the SF Bay Area CA, but will be moving to south Jersey/Philly suburbs in the beginning of July. I will start my BSN nursing program at Thomas Jefferson University in the fall, and I am hoping to help others during my time there. I genuinely love and enjoy helping others, and I currently work as a CNA in a skilled nursing facility with geriatric population. I love it!! The best part about this job is building relationships with the patients and families. As of right now (March 31) I have about 7 months experience. I am patient, kind, compassionate, punctual, and good spirited. My positivity goes a long way in this kind of work. When I was in school for my CNA license, I won MVP for excellent attendance, a positive attitude, my ability to help my fellow students and staying later to practice.

Hi there, my name is Shelby and I have been a certified nursing assistant for 9 years now. I grew up spending a lot of time in hospitals and clinics with my Grandmother who was a Clinic Director for years. I loved hanging out with the nurses and I knew from a young age that I wanted to be one too. I have a knack for taking care of others and making them feel comfortable with me. I also go above and beyond when it comes to my clients and make sure they are being taken care of professionally and thoroughly. I am currently in school completing my generals so that I can go to nursing school and eventually become an RN. I also volunteer at John Muir Walnut Creek every other week. I am truly passionate about being in the health care field and caring for others.
