I am a compassionate caregiver that loves helping others . I found interest in caring for the elderly when my father was sick in the hospital and later had dementia . I cared for him until his last days , giving him the love and care that he needed . I enjoy to make other smile and happy and help them do things in everyday life that they longer can do for themselves . In addition , my mother was in remission with lupus , but had numerous of surgeries on her knees, arm and back . My personal achievements is taking care of love ones , and my children which is the greatest achievement of them all .

I have been in the health field for over 10 plus years. I've started off with taking care of a few of my family members such as my sister and currently still my mother. I've always had a love for helping others of need. I am here to reassure whichever family/client I am place with they will have that security and confidence that they will be in good hands and cared for with love and kindness. I make it my daily goal to be sure all required needs and tasks are met.

I am an experienced caregiver for over 6+ years. I have a strong passion working with the elderly. I've worked with many different patients among several different health conditions such as, Dementia, Alzheimer's, Hospice care and Diabetic/double amputee. My personality is someone who come from a background where I was raised by a single mother who taught me how to respect my elders and my piers. So the thing that attracted me to want to become a caregiver is that I still have both of my grandmother's which one who that i provide care for now. A great caregiver treats the person like a member of the family or a longtime friend. He is kind, patient, supportive, engaging and flexible to the person's needs. In my recent job, an RN told me I would be a good caregiver. She based this on weeks of observing how I interacted with patients coming in for COVID-19 vaccination injections. It made me consider caregiving as an employment option. I tend to have a genuine concern for and interest in people. My wife and I attended church with the matriarch of a family. We had assisted her with meals and transportation and just being there sometimes. We were honored when the family asked us to be in attendance when she was disconnected from life support and passed away. We were proud to have been thought of with such regard. Having resided here since about age six, I consider myself a Los Angeleno, even though I was born in Belize, Central America. A proud husband and father and a forever fan of the Clippers!
