I enjoy helping and working with Seniors in their homes vs. an assisted living facility. : ) I enjoy helping them be able to live their quality of life in their own homes. When elderly people talk, I'm an attentive listener, I was told by a client once, if you listen closely you just may learn something you can use throughout your life. I have experience working with clients that have: alzheimers, dementia, diabetes, parkinson's, recovering from falls, strokes. I'm caring, compassionate, dependable, empathetic, honest, open minded, patient and trustworthy, I'm a woman of my word.

I am a great caregiver because I know what Genuine care means & how serious this field of work is to the clients first as well as for the families. I have worked in numerous fields of healthcare which shows why I have so much confidence, experience and passion for this field of work! I started out caretaking at the age of 15 to be able to help grandmother & provide support for others that need help. I do believe my heart keeps me in this line of work because of the compassion I have for helping others, having the skills & heart to provide companionship. Being raised by my grandmother and supporting her at her time of need made me want to give that support to people & their families in need. I am supper enthusiast and observant with a huge heart. In the year 2009 my grandmother who also raised me and I lived with was diagnosed with breast cancer and I was forced to drop out of college and care for her, although she is able to care for herself presently after caring for her for close to eight years I grown accustom to as well as enjoy being a caregiver. I am not only and ambitious and energetic individual I highly enjoy providing care for those who cannot care for themselves properly.
