I wanted to learn to be a caregiver so when my parents get old to take of my father. He has past 16 yrs now. I enjoy taking care of elderly I love there smiles.

I began volunteering when I was in 6th grade for familial and religious reasons. I am now 31. The close connection I had with my grandparents made a lasting impact on who I became as a person. I learned so much from them and for that reason I've always respected elders and I try to learn from them as often as I can. Over the years I've switched from office to medical work, but caregiving has always been at least a part time job for me. I am good at this job because I learn very fast, I understand everyone likes things done "their way" and I try my best to make people feel secure. I treat all people with respect and dignity. Just how I'd expect to be treated if things were reversed.

I have always been naturally caring. It was in 2010 when I felt the calling. 2011 I went to school to get my CNA license. I took care of my daughter who was undergoing treatment at the time. In 2013 I officially used my license at a local rehab facility. It was hard to leave my patients at the rehab facility who I had became close to and loved. 2015 I started to work at Sierra View where I floated to multiple departments. During that time I gain a better knowledge of how to take care and treat my patients. I and now looking to help a family in need to take care of their love one.

I've been a caregiver since 2012 I've worked in two different convalescent homes. I became a caregiver because I wanted to be able to take care of my grandpa in his last days but actually never got the chance he passed so suddenly. I love the what I do I couldn't imagine not doing what I do I know the work I do makes a difference in peoples lives. Doing what I do makes a big impact on my life as well I get to see some people get better or I get to comfort someone in their last days.

I have always wanted to become a registered nurse and in Dec. 2017 my mother was diagnosed with acute liver failure i cared for her up until her passing in Feb. 2018. In march 2018, i got another client and cared for her then moved over to my current client. I want to learn as much as i can and helping others is my calling. Your loved one will be treated just like family and will be in good hands with me. I am 24 years old and still working on getting into the nursing program so any time I work with a new client I will do research on their condition and how I can better assist them. I am relocating from California and I'm looking to get back to doing something fulfilling. From the mid 90s until early 2000's I worked in various homes with developmentally disabled adults. What makes me a great caregiver would be that I'm a really caring and helpful person, I have quite the experience in caregiving since I have done it before. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is that I get to meet someone new and get to experience everyday with them and just help them out, especially knowing no one is really around and its good thing for someone not to feel as lonely during the day.
