Also, from life experiences, I enjoy taking care of them and talk with them because they deserve someone to be there since I could be a friend to them as well. I've been caring for Seniors my whole life. My Grandfather suffered from Alzheimers and his sister before him, my Uncle suffered from Parkinson's, and I have a nephew with cerebral palsy. All of these factors that were placed in my life gave me a drive to not only help those in my family, but those whose families need more help. I started at age 16 with my neighbors mother who I cared for 5 days a week/4 hour days, then onto getting my CNA and becoming a full time care assistance. Now after just graduating LVN School I'm waiting to take my nursing boards. While I'm awaiting taking my test I don't want to sit by idoly. Caring for others is my passion and I want to continue to help in any way I can.

I am an outgoing person who loves people. I have enjoyed working with the elderly as well as the disabled mostly all my life from family to the various patients at work. What attracted me to being a caregiver is that I grew up with disabled family members that I wanted to have good care and so I figured I could spread my love and empathy all around. I love art and the beach and music and believe everyone needs a little bit of it to bring them joy. I love my work and I love to know that I can make a difference.

What attracted me to being a caregiver is I enjoy taking care of elders as I come from a large family of elders myself.
