Patience and flexibility are qualities of me being a good caregiver

I've been a caregiver for 8 years. I started caring for my mom and I've been doing it ever since. I went to school for nursing for a year and I've been working at different home care companies and I would have to say I really enjoy it.

I am kind patient very giving

My best personality trait is wanting to help people! One of my best expertise is to be able to talk and comfort a client or to help them as much as I can ( 110%! ) What attracted me to be a caregiver is being able to help a person in need of my assistance because they are not able to do it themselves! Having that sense of satisfaction of being able to do for someone is such a great reward for me! One of my best achievement is helping a client that knew she was going to pass on soon and me being able to help her through the process of getting her the right people with her religious beliefs and having her whole family being by her bedside! And doing whatever I can before she passed on was a great accomplishment!! Also by me being there for my mother as her caregiver and nurse while she was dying from cancer! Me being there to change her colostomy bag! Reminding her to take he chemo pills and just being there to comfort her to drive her and just to be there before she passed on! Just being there and helping a senior citizen every step of the way!!!!!

I'm twenty four years old. I've been I've been a caregiver since the age of eighteen I've had experience before eighteen. I love what I do I love getting to know new people I'm great and advanced with dementia and hospice. I love cooking I also love helping around. I can do just about anything you ask.

I love caring for people. I love making sure every ones safety and well being is taken care of. I love cooking, cleaning, reading, listening to stories, and learning new things. I have experience in caring for seniors. I have been a caregiver for 7 years in-home as well as facilities. I am experienced in showering, housekeeping, incontinence care and more.

I took care of my grandmother and step father for years. I have always been an understanding and loving person, who has a big heart. My last client and I were really close, but I wanted to take care of my grandmother who has now past away. I know I would be best for the job because caring for people has always been a dream of mine since I was a child.

The reason I became a caregiver was because, many people in my family are ill, can't get around how they want to, or just need help throughout the day. I love helping elderly people the most I like about becoming a caregiver is the warm smiles the elderly give when you have accomplished something with them they couldn't do on their own or needed help with. Attending Sacramento Job Corp to become a CNA was my biggest achievement I am proud of.

I became a Caregiver because of my dad and grandma. The thing I like about being a Caregiver is to make them happy. A personal achievement that I am proud of is getting my Certified Nurse Assistant. I just recently just got my Certified Nurse Assistant. I went to Sacramento Job Corps Center. I have 2 years expirence of customer service. I have my CPR and BLS Certification. I have no criminal records or DUI.
