I've been a caregivers over 35 years, lm a loveable, trustworthy, honest person. Who love to laugh, talk, listen to good stories, go for walks, listen to music. If your into having fun im the person for you. Caregiving is my nature.

I like to take care of kids & the Elderly. I have experience in taking care of both. I took care of kids for the past 5 years & before that I took care of my niece who was diagnosed with type 1 Diabetes, mother-in-law who was older in her 80's, & she also had Cancer. I also took care of my husband who was in his 60's & was also diagnosed with Cancer. What attracted me to being a caregiver was when my niece got diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes & she lived with me so I helped her out. Then my mother-in-law got sick & I stepped in cause she didn't trust, or want anybody else to care for her so I did it. Then my husband got sick & I took care of him until he passed. & Then I started babysitting for a friend who has 5 kids & I did that for the past 5 years. What I enjoy about being a caregiver is the way I can help them out & be able to care for them, even though it was hard losing my mother-in-law & husband, I still enjoy caring for others. A personal achievement I am proud of is taking care of my Husband up until he passed & he knew that I was able to do it for him.

Hi my name is Alison Sofara, I've been working as a caregiver starting from The south Pacific Island of Samoa. I was raised to grow up fast when Mommy needs help with my little sister and brother. Mom works at MacDonald overnight and I watch my little sister and brother when she comes home I get ready for school. The age of 14 I started to look after my grandfather and his wife for 3 years before I enter the state. My first job of the age of 18 was Inhome supportive services in San Bernardino care for my step mom. Ever since then I dedicate my self care for job I do best in doing. And also work for dietary aide in hospital. For that been said I'm outstanding loving caring happy caregiver. God Bless

I became a caregiver when my mom was diagnosed with cancer. I decided to be the one that gave her strength to keep going. After taking care of my mother for 5 years I had decided to go to Nursing School. Currently I am a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) as well as a Home Health Aide. I have been a CNA for 7 years and a HHA for 5 years. Changing my field of profession was a big achievement for me because I never truly knew what it felt like to make a difference in other people lives everyday with just helping them with their daily activities. I thrive on knowing that I make a difference in people lives. It is a joy to know that I can make some one feel better with just my companionship.

I've been caregiving for 5 years now and I'm good at what I do. I love dealing with the older folks because they always value my assistance which makes me feel rewarded at the end of the day. I always have had the ability to make my clients smile..love that!

My first job I had is a resident assistance at a place called Emeritus at Loma Linda that when I first became a caregivers. I work there for 4years it very different then anything. When being a caregiver you become attached to who your caring for and it like you meet a new member of your family. My personal achievement that I'm proud of becoming a single mother to have a son was just a blessing and I'm trying to take step to achieve more things for the both of us. I a mother trying to strive for a better future, I'm outgoing very helpful to others and I like to be hands on thing to learn better.

I am dependable and caring. I enjoy helping people and deticate myself to be the best if help and friend I can be to the patient as well as their family. I am honest and confident in my abilitys.

I became a caregiver because I get along with seniors well, and I like helping them to be able to stay in their homes and be independent. I like working with the senior doing light exercise, go for walks, cooking, taking them on outings to the store, or Doctors. I like people I'm self motivated, reliable, trust worthy and responsible I have worked with seniors for a number of years now. I enjoy life and try to help others to do the same by giving them encouragement.

I have no formal education as a caregiver, but I used to help my late grandparents with stuff, such as driving to the store and just listening to them when they needed someone to talk to. In addition, I also help my elderly mother with stuff, such as driving her places and helping her walk.

I care about people in their well being , what attracted to be to be a caregiver is in that my grandpa suffered a stroke & how I took good care of him & I want to be able to help others

I Enjoy The Connection I Receive From My Clients And How They Are So Friendly And Open With Me . Like I See Them As A Part Of My Family Almost. I Enjoyed The Older Ones In There 70s & 80's Who Give Me More Of A Outlook On Life & How The Generations Have Changed. 3. I Believe My Biggest Achievement In Life Was Being The First Out Of My Mother's Children To Go To College . 4. Something About Myself Is : I Am Very Outgoing And Energetic . I Love People , Some What Overly Talkative , But Love To Listen As Well . Always A Great Person To Get Advice From . I Am Pursuing My Dream To Be A Physical Therapist , But For The Time Being I'm Going To School For X Ray Technician. Strong Believer Of Jesus Christ. Also Love Children And Cats .

i became a care giver because i love serving people,i like being a care giver because i am making some ones life happier and complete. My achievement that i am proud of is just always giving my job 100%. i am a women that is timely dependable and a very hard worker. i have 3 children that are grown up now and i just want too be there for people to help them thirve and be happy.
