My best traits is my bubbly personality and for some reason I'm very patient with elders. Maybe from how i was raised but, I'd listen to them not just say I know what's best for you. I let them put their input in and then I come up with my best decision. I don't treat them like a number, I treat them like a person because, that's what they are people. Hopefully karma, I want someone to treat me like I treat the person I'm taking care of when I get older. What attracted me most to be a caregiver, is that my grandmother had Alzheimer's for the 5 years and I had to help her out either be shopping, getting her clothes out the day before, taking her places etc. What I enjoy most about being a care giver is they you get to have fun and it reminds me of helping out my grandmother, and I missed that. As well as you learn a lot from older people like history and alot of times they need somebody to talk to and I'm here to listen. To be honest my personal achievement that I'm proud of is my child my six-year-old son. He is wonderful, hyper, genius, loves Russian, loves his friends and love people in general. I strive every day to be a better person because of him.

I would make a lovely choice because I treat others loved ones as if they were my own, I'm patient understanding and very flexible. I was currently looking after my Husband Grandmother who suffers from Alzheimer's, It was a easy task for me because my grandmother also had it before she passed in 2012. (No I am not licensed), but I do have experience in the CNA field.

I am a caring individual that values having the best life possible. I entered this career path when my son's father had a stroke while I was still pregnant. I really enjoy the bonds I make with my patients and their families; becoming a part of the family myself while assisting a person to gain back their independence.

Caregiving 5 years ago began by being a side job, but it rapidly became what I loved doing the most. I've taken care of different seniors and I became attached to each one of them; it is hard not to. When I am with them I feel as if they are my own grandparents and I protect them to the best of my ability because I know they're fragile and dependent on me. Caregiving no longer is a job for me, yes, I live off that, but my heart is 100% there committed to helping our seniors with their daily lives or making them comfortable through their last days. I love being able to put a smile on their face when I walk in, make them feel like they matter and fill their days with routines and happiness at the same time. I have been told that my heart is big and full of gold because of my job and they are right, I have been instilled with great values, good morals along with being loving, caring, humble, kind and patient, these are traits that I live off and work to progress every day.

I have a deep compassion for caregiving. I took care of my uncle who sustained 3rd degree burns all over his body. No one wanted to help changed his bandages, so my uncle taught me how and he is alive and well with minimal scarring. I was 6 years old when I realized that God gave me my purpose and my passion, as a care giver. Making people feel comfortable and knowing that I am here to help make life easy. Dr. Lemmon, before he passed told me to never change people will feel your warmth.. Caregiving is giving is my passion and purpose.

I love working with elderly people. I am a very caring person honest hard working and loyal. I took care of my grandmother for 5 yrs when she became ill. I enjoyed every minute with her. I have been a cna since 1990 became private caregiver for the past 15 yrs. I really enjoy working one on one with individuals. My personal achievement was going back to college.

I became a caregiver when assisting my grandmother in 2012 with bathing, feeding, grooming and grocery shopping. During the pandemic, I also worked with Mattocks Elite HomeCare 2020-2022 while providing the same duties mentioned as well with transportation. Hello I am not only an educator but have been caring for the elderly for many years. I have a Bachelor's degree in Gerontology which allows me to understand those who suffer from Dementia, Althemizers, and other memory disorders. I also have a Master's degree in Healthcare Administration so I understand how time management is important. Aside from memory disorders I have cared for those in our elderly community and those just needing companionship. Not only am I skilled in the senior population, but other areas of special care. I started as a nursing assistant, when I was in high school. I have been doing this for 26 years. I have worked as CNA is every environment (hospital, nursing home, rehabilitation, psych unit and private duty. What attracted me to being a caregiver is that I enjoyed the personal aspect. I have a passion for understanding and caring about the well being of my clients. I often have toys I clean between shifts for my dementia patients to ensure enrichment. I started off young as I have a disabled grandmother, and helping her made me feel happy. I want to bring a sense of independence back to the life's of those who feel they lost it. I am a laid back type of person that very seldom takes anything personally. I have always been involved with serving people. I take great pride in my ability to communicate which has taken me years of hard work to develop. I believe communication is more than just the words we say but also body language, tone, and eye contact. I believe I can relate to most people because I listen and emphasize with them. My Master's degree is probably one of the proudest things I've accomplished. I worked full time (60+ hours a week), was a youth leader, and the last 2 years of college, I was a single father taking care of a son with a unknown heart issue.
