Turning or moving patients. Gathering medical supplies. Bathing patients. Grooming patients by brushing their hair, teeth, shaving them, etc. Feeding patients and documenting their food and liquid intake. Checking vital signs such as blood pressure and heart rate. Answering patient calls.

I used to always play nurse as he would say cause one thing i did was always make sure he took his medicine and shot's I'll have to give him . I really love taking care of older people, and I want to be a better person every day because of them. I think they deserve so much love and care, especially because so many older people feel lonely and sad. When I worked in a senior living facility, my heart broke seeing the patients feeling alone and unhappy. Their struggles made me want to be a kinder and more patient person, so I can show them the love and care they truly deserve. I've always had a big heart for loving and caring for elders in need because of the special bond I had with my great-grandmother. She taught me how important it is to show compassion and support to older people, and this has stayed with me. I want to use that love and care to help others who might need it, just like she needed and deserved. I've always loved the idea of being a nurse ever since I was young. When I took care of my great-grandmother, who was a senior, it made me realize how much I enjoy helping and caring for others. Taking care of her sparked my passion for being a caregiver, and it's something I have wanted to do ever since. A personal achievement I'm really proud of is getting both my insurance license and my driver's license. It took a lot of hard work and dedication to complete both, and I'm really happy to have reached these goals. They represent a lot of effort and learning for me, and I'm excited about the opportunities they bring for my future and of course my 2 children who I love very much.
