I'm a mature, dependable, dedicated and compassionate caregiver with over 40 years experience. I've raised 3 children, cared for my husband and father who both battled cancer for several years before their deaths. For 7 years I cared for my elderly mother in my home when she was diagnosed with Alzheimers. I help care for my 17 year old grandson, born with a genetic disorder and severely disabled his entire life. He has a feeding tube and needs constant care. I have worked through Carelinx and Visiting Angels and have had the pleasure of assisting many clients.

I'm a really outgoing loving person. I put others needs before my own and I strive to make my clients as comfortable as possible. I'm a playful person, but I can be serious when I need to be. I've always wanted a job where I could help others and make them happy. Which makes this job perfect for me. Every client is different so it's very interesting to see the different challenges that we could over come together.

I'm a driven and motivated individual, throughout my work experience I have encountered many different clients with different health backgrounds and disabilities. My career goal is to work for a police department as a deputy sheriff helping people in my community. Caregiving has not only taught me interpersonal skills but has also taught me the responsibility it takes to care for another individual. What I enjoy most about caregiving is making my client feel accompanied and cared for. I am proud of all the work experience I have gained at such a young age I am very knowledgeable and good at what I do.

What makes me a great caregiver is my passion and compassion for taking care of people in need. I started caregiving at the age of 18 years old and I am now 31. There is nothing more rewarding than knowing you made someone's day that much easier. I strive to provide the best possible care to every client I work with. I have this way of treating people the way I want to be treated. I believe dignity and respect is something everyone deserves.

I'm a caring person I like help others and will always be there when needed I'm never late and always on time I can cook a variety of food and a very fast learner. Im always helping others it what I like to do, I seen that a lot of people need a good care giver and looking for a honest good person so I figured why not do what I like into a career

I'm a very humble person and enjoy helping others I always put others needs before mine. I grew up with 4 and 3 sisters and my dad left us so i took care of them with my mom so I guess you can call me a second mom lol but I'm a very good cook and a good driver prefect record and I don't do drug never had or ever drink liquor same also with coffee or energy drinks I never needed it so I don't drink them. I don't get mad or upset I don't mind doing alot of things or being told something at the last minute and I'm very understanding and open hearted.

For many years I have always wanted to care for others. And now here I am finally trying to do something I will love doing! I believe I am capable to change someone's life with the care I attend to give and do as best as I can to make anyone happy and make life a little easy for them while they rest and are able to relax with the conditions these clients have.
