Hi! My name is Angelica and I will be a full-time student at UNLV in the fall. I recently moved from California and for the past year, I served as a part-time caregiver to adults with special needs and developmental disabilities. I assist with errands, light housekeeping/chores, help them engage within the community (parks, libraries), etc. I am passionate about what I do because of clients. I have been responsible for ordering and stocking cabinets in each exam room, and checking on basic maintenance of office equipment, which include the copier, scanner, fax, and printer. I have worked with Microsoft Office Suite. I am a trustworthy, reliable, hard working, prompt and committed individual in doing an exceptional job.

I became my mother's caregiver after she had a stroke in 2016. I never wanted my mother to be someone else's responsibility so my siblings and i got together and began taking care of her ourselves..

I became a full time caregiver to my mother at home who had dementia and Parkinson. My mother who gave me life wasn't able to take care of herself anymore so I took care of her until she died last month. I loved taking care of my mother cause she was easy to take care of and she was always there for me since I was a little kid so it was my turn to take care of her when she was sick. I was very proud of myself cause I was able to take care of my mother as long as I could. I am now trying to find a job here in Seattle, WA.
