I have been working as a caregiver for over 16 years now. I have Dementia, Alzheimers, Parkinson's experience. I am CPR/First Aid trained. I am a very patient, kind, loyal, trustworthy and respectful person and I have always loved taking care of people. What attracted me to becoming a caregiver is when I started taking care of my grandmother when she was diagnosed with Dementia and from there I discovered how much I love taking care of the eldery. I strive to put a smile on my clients faces and being able to help someone live a better fuller life is rewarding to me personally. What I enjoy about being a caregiver is getting to know my clients, I enjoy seeing my clients happy and comfortable. Helping my clients be able to enjoy their lives more because they know they are being provided with excellent service is important to me. I can help with All ADLs as needed, meal prep, Housekeeping, activities, grocery shopping, taking client to appointments, Companionship and I am a amazing cook! A personal achievement of mine while being a caregiver is winning employee of the month 3 different times. I continue to strive to be the best caregiver I can be for all my clients and their families. I'm also on my way to getting my degree in Medical Assisting at UEI College in Elk Grove CA. My classes are from 5:30pm-10:30pm Monday-Friday. I am Available to work 7 days a week 6am-4:30pm. Thank you :)

I have been in Oregon for five years, prior to coming to Oregon. I was the home healthcare lead for Visiting Angels of Scotts Valley. I never would have left the job even with having completed my EMT certifications as I loved my job so much. I moved to Oregon to be able to buy a home and give my kids a safer environment. I have a child with autism and I have a lot of experience in that area. Working with Visiting Angels I did a lot of work and conjunction with hospice and was a very valuable member of the team to help people transition at end of life. When I came to Oregon, I worked in a locked facility managing a unit for dementia patients. The company had a lot of problems so I moved on. I took a job with VCA and worked there for four years before I thought I would try to go back to healthcare. Working for healthcare and a facility was just not a good fit for me. I am at best served and my patience are best served in a private environment where I work directly with the families. I spent a year in upper management most recently working with severely mentally and physically disabled adults who were violent. I gained several certifications during that time. I am highly skilled and highly experienced and really enjoy working with the families and the patients. I am currently back in the veterinary field justice part time. Looking to add a few days a week back in private home healthcare. Lastly, I also care for my own mother who is in her late 70s and I am very proud of how she is doing. I'm open to meeting a family Prior to taking on a working contract to give them the opportunity to meet me and see if I'm a good fit for them. I've never had anybody unhappy with my care. Generally, I believe families find me kind and courteous and respectful. I know you're not allowed to ask but I will let you know that I am in my early 50s. And with that comes patience, maturity, and experience. I have a Subaru Forrester that is newer & transporting clients is no problem.

I'm a proud Mother of 3 kids from age 6-10, married. I started working as a caregiver 3 years ago, and I Love It. I just feel like, I was born to do this job. I've done everything from being a companion to working through the last days of hospice.  I am a very compassionate, caring, honest, patient, kind, responsible, reliable and professional person...a friend who you can trust. I treat my clients with respect and dignity at all times. I enjoy helping others. I love to know that with my help I can do a difference on someone's life. I always try to put myself on my clients shoes...and try to do my best to make my clients happy, and confortable with me.

I'm married with three children. I don't have a especial hobbie I just like to spend time with my family and pets , volunteer at my children's schools. Educate my self everyday. Attend the Alzheimer's retreat almost every year. I've being a caregiver for over 20 years. It takes a special person for this kind of work. I'm very compassionate, treat my clients with respect and dignity at all times. I'm also very patient and gentle. Being a care giver is very rewarding to me, when I see that my clients and families smile every time they see me and thank me for taking such good care of them or their loved ones that to me is very rewarding and priceless. My biggest achievement is when someone asks me: what do you do for a living? : I'm a caregiver. Immediately their eyes brighten up and thank me for what I do!! That makes my day all the time :). I am an excellent caregiver because I have loved the elderly since I was a child . This was my very first job when I was 18 years old and now I am still caregiving . I absolutely adore elders I am very responsible and very reliable I am trustworthy and I am the person that you would love to have with your elder . I take extremely good care of any elder that I am with family say that they would love to keep me I am trained in most every area of elder caregiving and I would love to be an asset to your company thank you.
