My interest in assisting senior adults began at 19 in my church. And even earlier, I had a deep love for my grandmother. I saw that I could truly help them. The interaction of youth and maturity was fascinating. Of course, the blessing came in the serving, and enlisting others in the serving. Gaining the trust of so many seniors. I believe in personal freedoms, honesty, respect, and fairness. I know that all of us are terminal. I know that 'love' is the strongest thing in the world, and must be used more. I can be be a strong advocate for my friends. I love many animals, (esp. dogs), classic rock, exercise, and scanning magazine articles. I am a news 'junkie'.

I love taking care of people. I'm very compassionate and loving also hardworking. I'm a CPR certified and going to school for nursing. I truly do care about my patients and! I listen to them and love to get to know them. I have taken care of some of the most amazing people. My recent client died. He had lung cancer- final stages , tumor and dementia. I truly did have a great chance to get to know someone amazing. I also go beyond the care ones needs. I have taken care of special needs ones from childcare and adult! I also developed caregiver service. I look forward to helping more with love and care.

I'm Ed, a semi-retired university professor of health administration in Tucson Arizona. I assist clients navigate the healthcare system as well as help them with paying bills, organizing their medications, and providing transportation to medical appointments. I do not provide cooking or direct assistance with bathing, eating or other activities of daily living. Rather I serve as an informal case manager and coordinator of services. I want to help seniors and others thrive whatever their condition. I'm currently volunteering at the Villa Maria Care Center. Also, I have experience in assisting my parents as they aged. I have an MBA and a PhD in Health Care Administration, and I worked as a educator and trainer for 27 years. I am a intermediate-level Spanish speaker, and would like to have more practice speaking Spanish with bilingual clients.

I've been a cerified nursing assistant for 6 years now. I became a nursing assistant because I took care of several family members with cancer kidney issues and more I figured this was my calling. When I care for another human being I feel like I'm making a difference In their life weather it's conversation or helping them move or bathe toilet etc. I treat everyone mean or nice with much respect because the problems some have can definitely change their moods and I can't blame them. Sick people don't bounce around with joy so I totally get it. I enjoy what I do and eventually will be pushing for that nursing degree.
