I'm a great caregiver because I'm passionate about helping others! I began taking care of my Disabled Mother when she was diagnosed with Dementia. I was also taking care of a good friend of mine.

I started working in a convalescent hospital at the age of 18. I became a CNA at the age of 19 and have been working as a nurse ever since. 20 years later I have learned many things about life, but the most important one is that.. life is precious and at the end of my day I know that I have done for another what they couldn't do for themselves. I take care of someone the way I would want someone to care for me when I no longer can for myself.

I became a CNA because i love helping others we are all going to get to a point in life where we will need help with our activities of daily living so why not help the ones who are already having difficulty completing these tasks such as bathing grooming dressing etc. I also feel everyone should have someone to look after them at a point in life to atleast try to prevent seniors to fall or have any accidental injuries.

I have been doing this since i was about 9 years old, when i had to take care of my great grandmother. Every since then i fell in love with helping a person who can no longer care for themselves. I became close with my clients when I was at Senior Helpers. I am extremely honest with good moral character and I feel that it is important to say that due to a few 'bad apples' in the news. I am dependable and trustworthy. I treat my clients like they are my own family. I work hard and take pride in my work. I am a decent cook. I'm eager to please. I think I am a good care giver because I am patient, compassionate , reliable and I pretty much have an open availability. I got into doing care giving not intentionally at first but because my stubborn old roommate needed help but wouldn't ask for it. And then I just kind of thought it was a good fit for me. And hopefully you will think so too.
