I was born and raised in the redwoods of Northern California. My family and I moved to Texas in 2017. I've been married for 12 years and have two elementary aged children. My mom was the activities director in a care home when I was a kid, and would go to work with her often to play games and do crafts with the residents. When I was 16 the owner asked if I wanted a job and I excitedly accepted. My passion for caregiving started at a very young age. I love engaging and getting to know my residents/clients on a personal level. We typically end up becoming best friends. I love shopping for my clients when I'm out and about, finding a sweater or particular jewelry item I know they would love. I want them all to be spoiled! I have even gotten my kids into coming to work with me at the last carehome to volunteer by playing games and doing puzzles with my residents. My dream is to one day own a residential carehome of my own.

Hello I am a very experienced caregiver who is knowledgeable in many areas of providing care for the elderly. I have worked in health care as a Medical Assistant so I have solid understanding of different conditions and working with doctors regarding health needs of patients. I am a very compassionate person who values integrity and communication. I really enjoy helping people and being of service to older folks I tend to understand and appreciate them. I am really proud to be a Reiki Master Practitioner it is a dream to help people feel the benefit of peace and relaxation.

A little bit about me Hi my name is Lola De Los Santos. I am 19 years old and I am a CNA-Certified Nursing Assistant. I am currently a college student at Mendocino College pursuing my goal to become an RN-Registered Nurse. I am a fun spirited individual who loves being around people and making people feel good and or better even when that day may not be a good day for them. Throughout school of wanting to become a nurse I chose to get my CNA license so that I would be able to get more experience within the career path that I have chosen, but throughout my journey of schooling and working at a care home I realized that being there for your patients and assisting them with their ADL's is the best feeling that I could have experienced while being a CNA. A personal achievement I am proud of is accomplishing as much as I have while only being 19 years old and that I am passionate about the things that I do.

I got into caregiving as a fluke and instantly fell in love with it and the people that I have been able to help and care for. I've always had interest in the medical field and I learned that caregiving is fairly similar to it, I saw that through caregiving I create a personal connection and that's why I chose caregiving. I enjoy the little moments about caregiving, when a person served says something unexpected and it creates a happy memory/moment for us both. A personal achievement I am proud of is taking first place in bodybuilding competitions, it's the prep that I am most proud of, not quitting when it's hard or when I'm tired.

I've been a mom for 24 years. My son had many surgeries growing up. I have also helped my family whenever they had surgeries or were ill. I love helping people. It's nice to be able to have someone you like and trust to help take care of you when you can't do it yourself or maybe just need a little bit of help.

I started in home care at the age of 20 and have been a caregiver for 3+ years now. I love working in the community and getting to know others. It's very rewarding to know that I made a difference in someone's life. I have a family of my own and am very family oriented. I'm warm, open, and flexible.
