I've been doing caregiving for 5 years now , and it's really something that I enjoy . I started caregiving for my grandad as a kid I really loved spending quality time and taking care of him . I am really passionate about helping people who can not help themselves.

As a child I loved helping my grandparents and realize how much they needed help. I then decided to help them and other seniors. I was blessed with being caring, loving and very patient.

When I was in high school my grandparents became the primary caregivers for my great-grandmother. At first it was not to large of a task to care for my grandmother but eventually we all needed to step in and do our part to aid in her care. Being only 16 years old naturally I was very nervous and skeptical about some of the things I would need to do but I loved my grandmother very much and knew she needed me most in those moments. Aiding in the care of my grandmother is the reason I chose to work in this field. The reward I receive from my job is seeing the joy in my client's knowing they are being cared for with dignity and respect. One thing I am very proud of myself for is being able to see beyond a person's basic need and being able to form a bond with each and every person I come in contact with. I believe I am an excellent caregiver because I am compassionate, patient, trustworthy, reliable and most importantly I take the time to listen.

I am a great caregiver because I work well with others and I have social skills I am friendly and not shy. I am patient with others. I am capable of finishing a task.

I have caregiver experience of 3 years and counting. I have a passion for helping those who need it. What struck my interest was when my father fell ill and needed someone to take care of him and that's when I knew helping people was a passion of mine
