I am hard working, patient and compassionate. I am able to handle any situation that comes my way, while keeping my composure. I was attracted to this field of work because I believe in making the best possible use of what you have. Being patient and "passive" is not always viewed as a positive thing, but if I can leverage my personality traits to build professional relationships that are mutually beneficial, I believe that is a truly rewarding experience. I am a natural problem solver and that's what makes this job enjoyable for me. I like the fact that every day is different and brings new challenges that translate into learning experiences. I aim to learn as much as possible, at all times, regardless of circumstance. I am proud of the fact that I am able to remain positive and take something away from each experience I have in life.

I'm UPDATING my profile today, 6-3-2019, to reflect an upcoming change in my life: I plan to move in with my 86 year old Dad, next month. He loves to drive (he has 4 cars!) but his doctor has suggested that he not drive alone to unfamiliar places. (He has memory loss and gets turned around easily.) What I love about the Carelinx platform is that it allows me to offer my services as a professional caregiver to families that need my help while being able to care for my family members, too. I have over 17 years of experience as a caregiver and a sympathetic ear, especially when it comes to caring for elderly parents! I can understand how you feel because I'm going through and have gone through many of the same things. (My Mom passed away in May 2014.) Feel free to contact me if you need a caregiver for 2-3 days per week, for 4-6 hour afternoon shifts or if you just need to talk to someone willing to listen. I want to work in a helping profession particularly with the elderly. I am a very compassionate and caring person that is a good listener as well. I like to participate in conversation and share favorite hobbies with my clients. I am a mature, honest and dependable woman that is well-educated and experienced in a variety of fields. I have been working a church organist for over 30 years, but I don't discuss religion as I believe that it is a personal matter. To end I would also like to mention that I lease a 2014 vehicle which is very reliable. Thank you very much for reading.

I have passion for the elderly and children. Friends, families, co workers, always consider me that go to person that will lend an ear, just listen. I feel awesome when I can give back. I took care of my great grandmother who lived to be 104, I loved sitting and listening to all her stories in her era. 'She was born in 1900 and lived until 2004. NY Times once did an article on her, they was amazed at her mind. Again, I believe that our elderly population sometimes are not cared for in which they deserve, so I do what I do because I respect and hope to make it one day to over 100. I want someone to be kind to me when I reach that age.

I LIKE HELPING PEOPLE. I HAVE BEEN DOING THIS TYPE OF WORK FOR OVER 30 YEARS. I AM LOOKING FOR WORK ATLEAST 10 TO 15 HOURS A WEEK. I CAN DRIVE AND I HAVE VERY RELIABLE TRANSPORTION. WITH ON STAR . WITH HEATED SEATS. IT WILL MAKE ANY PASSAGER COMFORTABLE.

My curious nature and ease of connecting with people led me to the caregiver field. One of the best things about being a caregiver is meeting people from different walks of life and finding out how much we really do have in common with each other.

I am loving , caring , honest and reliable . Taking care of people is what i have been doing from the age of 14 back in Jamaica helping out my mom taking care of elders in my community so i had that healthcare career instilled within me . Being a care worker is not just a job for me but it promotes a learning environment for both me and elders , every day i learn something new . I am proud that in the field of healthcare i manage to start from the bottom (hha ) , gain a lot of experience ( home care , nursing home , hospital , Rehab , assisting living ) and now im enrolled in a bachelors program in healthcare administration I am extremely proud of my self ..
