Hello, I have been a caregiver working with children and the elderly for 30+ years. And within those years I have also spent 15yrs working as a Supported Living Coach and Caregiver to individuals with disabilities. I have always loved working in a home setting for I enjoy getting to know my clients and their families. I like working towards their goals and watching others succeed. And becoming a team tom provide care. There is nothing like being in our own homes! I was a stay home mom and started off my caregiving career by caring for other children besides my own so that I was able to be there for them. When the went off to school I started my career in home health. This career has made it possible to alway be there for my children and never missing a moment. They are now all grown up into wonderful young men. And with wonderful careers of their own. I have taken part in several agencies that I have helped emplement policies for better care for our clients. I have taken part in several volunteer positions that have brought better health care or connections to the community. I truly enjoy being caregiver to see others happy and healthy.

My Mother's breast cancer came back and she was terminal. She could no longer care for my disabled Father, so I stepped in to help with cleaning, meal prep, and Dr. appointments. I enjoyed getting to know my parents better until their passing. We had a lot of laughs and hard conversations as well. I became a CNA a year and a half into caring for my parents part time. I was a carpenter by trade and decided on a career change.I have taken care of other patients privately. In the five years that I have been a CNA, I have become quite an advocate for the disabled and enjoy searching for resources to their betterment. I am a married mother of two grown daughters. I enjoy the outdoors and the theater. I have compassion for people in general.. I love to hear their stories and share ideas and experiences of my own.
