Hello Im a 12 year practical nurse in excellent standing with the Florida board of nursing and CPR BLS instructor (American Heart Association certified) I have skills with diabetic check and care, asthma care, g tube feeds, assistance with physical therapy home orders (range of motion, massage), medication preparation/assist, companionship, driving to appointments, I have scheduling flexibility.

The one thing that makes me a great caregiver is I am a great listener and I am always paying attention. The one thing I mostly enjoy about being a caregiver is knowing I am doing something good for someone else. Even if it's something small like going to the bathroom. The one thing that really attracted me to become a caregiver is knowing I will be able to help someone live as normal life as they can. Lastly the one thing that makes me think that I can be a good caregiver is I took care of my uncle and grandma. Growing up as a teen I had to help with taking care of my grandma that had dementia and my uncle he was on hospic for 5 years.

I became a caregiver after my grandfather passed away from cancer...the way the ladies took care of him was just so heart warming and inspirational. I love taking care of my residents there all so sweet and makes my heart happy to know they feel safe under my care. I have had complaints from residents when I'm not in there area because they miss me (:

Hey everyone, I decided to go into the Cna career because of my Grandma. She was such a big inspiration . She had cancer, Alzheimers and Diabetes and I was her number one care taker while she lived with us. I loved it. Now I have been in the field for about 4 years now and pursuing my nursing degree. Being able to help out elderly in need is such an accomplishment. To end it off, I can also understand and speak spanish!

My mother started it all for me shes been a cna 20+ years...watching her over the years & joining her ar work at times I always wanted to dive in & help.I enjoy getting to know my residents & patients. Working with them everyday & the joy I can bring to them.
