Hello, my name is Bonnie M. and I am a professional caregiver/home health aide who is available and ready to care for your loved one on a full time basis. I have over 12 years experience in this field and I absolutely love what I do. I have learned and continue to learn so much from taking care of people who suffer from Dementia, Alzheimer's Disease, Parkinson's Disease, mental health issues and surgery recovery/ rehabilitation. I am skilled at helping the aged navigate this stage of life while providing a wide range of assistance with everyday life challenges. I have assisted with implementing in home physical and occupational therapy plans, medication management/reminders, toileting assistance and catheter care. I am able to assist with showering or providing a full bed bath including hair care. I have experience using various medical equipment including a Hoyer lift. I believe in fully attentive concierge care. It is my desire to learn a client's preferences regarding every facet of daily living and honor them at every opportunity. I am extremely organized and use this skill to create a fully customized "Life Binder" which is personalized for each client. This book includes "daily care reports" which track such things as vitals, oxygen levels, pain score, medication administration, fluid intake, food consumption, urine output/bowel movement tracking and various other observations of daily living. I am willing to accompany clients to physician appointments and take copious notes. I am willing to run errands, prepare meals and assist with eating. Laundry and light housekeeping are done on a daily basis. I am certified in CPR and First Aid. I just started working in the home caregiver. Been doing it for bout 2 months helping a 99 year old lady. I have always wanted to be come a nurse which I'm working on going back to school for it. I used to help with my grandma when she was here. I like to work with elderly and kids helping them. My aunt she is the one that inspired me to become a caregiver because she was a nurse and she loved helping people and she showed me alot when my Grandma was here and I help with her.

My grandmother and grandfather (father's parents) moved in with us in May of 2010. Grandma is blind and Grandpa had Alzheimer's disease (Grandpa has since passed away). I was paid to take care of my grandparents while my parents worked 9-5 Mon through Fri. I enjoyed being able to help my grandparents when they so desperately needed it with everything. It feels amazing to help those who need it, whether family or not. I'm proud that I took care of my grandpa until the last 6 days of his life where he spent in hospice. He was mean, violent and I spent many of my days caring for him in a battle with him. He didn't remember me for the three years he lived with us. My grandmother is now slowly deteriorating, my sister takes care of her now during the weekdays while my parents work. I plan on enrolling in a program by the end of this month for massage therapy, it should be mornings 8-12am Monday through Friday. I need a job desperately to pay for my college. I am willing to do house work as well. I have a clean background and am D&D free. Thank you for your time and interest. -Victoria

Being able to impact someone else's life is the best thing about being a caregiver. 3.A personal achievement I'm proud of,is finishing my education. 4. I have been a caregiver for 10 yrs and I absolutely love being a caregiver. I take special attention to my caregivers and help them with all their needs such as preparing medication, lite cleaning, doctors appointments and simply just reading a book to my caregiver. I was working full time and decided that I wanted to be a full time caregiver because I like helping elderly patients. I am very proud of myself for wanting to be a caregiver. My patients make me happy and I enjoy taking care of them.

What makes me a great caregiver is I put my all into my work and I try my best to meet the needs of all my clients. I am loving, trusting and responsible. I love making people feel at ease and comfortable.
