I absolutely love building relationships with my residents. That's my favorite part about being a caregiver. I eventually want to go to school and get my LPN so I can broaden my knowledge and experience

I am 36 and a single mother to 5 beautiful children.( plus one that I had through surrogacy) I am working hard to get back up on my feet. I love to help others and I enjoy what I do for a living. I am compassionate and patient and I believe I would be a great asset to hire. I currently work full time at an Alf facility However I would consider leaving that job for a better opportunity. I am dependable and I put so much love into what I do.

I became a caregiver because I love to give back. There is so much to learn from an senior citizens if we took the time to just listen. I treat them as if they were my own grand/great parent because in most cases you are all they may have or the closest thing to family. I was raised by my great grand mother so i respect them to the up most, treating them as an adult and not a child (that is the worst thing you could do).

Hi my name Shkira Johnson , I'm 23 years old years old I started working in a nursing home " Gss" back in 2017 I started as a dietary aide prepping food watching diets reading tickets/serving . Then I later on switched to housekeeping where i got to learn the residents while cleaning they rooms & hallways. As I did housekeeping I Learned A Lot On The Floor Alzheimer Disease Cpr First Aide Dementia Skin Care Bloodborne Pathogens Gate belts & more . Most of all I enjoy caring for others . I'm a great caregiver because I treat my clients like family, I became a caregiver after my grandmother was diagnosed with stage four ovarian cancer and passed away. Ever since then I fell in love with being a caregiver for other families loved ones needs.
