Caregiver experience with my father for 2 years, bathing, grooming, meal preparation and transportation.

Hello, I have been in Healthcare for over 14 yrs. I live in Tehachapi, CA. One of the things I love about working with my clients is learning about them, their stories and being about to help and support them at this stage of their life.

I am 40 however; since age 7 have been caring for someone. My youngest brother was my first direct care which I was eagerly awaiting to assist . Although we are 7 years apart I modled a mini mom for him. I was compensated since 12 to babysit and became a teacher's aide at 14 working my first job at my Church Day cay. I was a major assist to my grandmother in between who passed 3 yrs ago after experienced a survival from a stroke she was 100@ the time she passed. I took Health Occupation in HS grade 10_12th and became a parent after graduating. I attended college and Worked at Manor Care while pregnant and in school with Geriatrics which later I converted to 14 yrs of Pediatrics. For the past 5years I have been a Care Coordinator assisting all ages. I Love to give to others what they can't provide for theirselves . My reward is knowing I too could be them and in return would want someone to care enough to care for me with excellency.

I'm honest, dependable, trust worthy, loving ,caring and always on time. What makes me a caregiver I am a peoples person and I like caring for other people. I work for hospice I've been with them for like going on 18 years and I love what I do. I had several family members that was in hospice and the service that they gave my family was phenomenal and I said I wanna work for the company.I enjoyed working around the elderly people because you learn a lot of different stories and I enjoy work around different cultures.

for the benefit of helping those who cant help themselves at majority of times , and making sure they find there every need and desire satisfied . the thing i like about being a caregiver is that not many as lucky as me get to experience working with beautiful and innocent defenseless people which in return brings warmth and comfort to heart . a personal achievement is seeing them taken cared of the right way like if they were a grandmother or grandfather or any familiar of mine that is in need of aid for assistance . i'm young but i'm fully aware of my surroundings , alert , attentive . i always strive to make things to the nearest of perfection . my attitude is very sincere and kind .

I have been a caregiver for 4 yrs now I took care of my grandmother I cooked for her, I bathe her, took her to the bathroom,dressed her, keep her house clean,did her hair, took her for walks just get her out of the house for a bit and work them bones, played scrabble with her, did errands, and I enjoyed it so much I love working and helping people that's what I do best. I hope I can do it again my grandmother died of cancer and has been died for 2 yrs now and I hope I can help someone else out.I believe your mother will love me because she will never be bored we will have fun.

My mom was diagnosed with MS 25 years ago and I then decided to go to school to become a CHHA. I joined an agency and loved it. I cared for people with disabilities, diseases and just the elder that needed assistance with everyday living. I felt wonderful and loved going to work everyday. I then needed more steady work and income and the agency was unable to do that for me so I decided to go to business school. I worked as an administrative assistant for many years then starting my own pet sitting service. I Havre always wanted to go back to caregiving, it is what is in my heart and I just can't see any other job that is more rewarding.
