Hello! I'm Cassaundra! I use to be in the hospitality industry until Covid-19 started, I decided to not go back. I started working at Home Instead Senior Care at the end of 2020 and quickly discovered it was the best decision of my life! I'm on this earth to be of service, heal and nurture, it brings me pure joy! I have a background in nursing but did not complete the program. I'm at a point now in my life where I'm ready to continue my education and get my CNA and work up from there. I am a certified personal care assistant (PCA) and have worked with individuals with TBIs as well as children and young adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. I'm also CPR/First Aid certified, and have extensive knowledge of food safety, and experience in cleaning/organizing (work for two maids and a mop, as well as Koontz condo cleaning service.) I'm also spiritual and have natural healing abilities and have been told on many occasions that I have huge healing energy as well as general physical energy. I'm bubbly and have a bright and optimistic outlook on life. I'm known to make my clients laugh! I will be an asset to any team because caregiving doesn't feel like work to me, I absolutely enjoy it, I'm great at it and I have open availability (no kids, unmarried) so I'll be all yours and truly dedicated. I have passion for people, and would like serve in the field of nursing. I worked in a Nursing home on Springdale Rd. name Crest View Nursing Home after I got out of high school, now I'm in Medical School at Anthem College, I have a lot knowledge in the Medical field to help any Company. I'm also trained in an Ob Gyn Office under the leader of Dr. Charis Simmons. My personality is caring and eager to help. I have so much respect for the HIPPA LAWS! What makes me a great caregiver, my mother told me at a early age to do what you love and it will be something you put your heart into and you wont worry about the time because you 're doing what you love. I just want to be respected, I'm a Medical Assistant that can work in any setting, hospital, Clinical office front and back, EKG, X-ray Tech.

I have a calm, sweet demeanor and am very task oriented. I am patient, having spent lots of time caring for my grandmother over the years. I recently lost my grandmother and am looking to connect and provide care in a way that I deeply miss and value. Aside from being of good use, I enjoy the bonding and listening to wisdom. I've always loved to care for those who are vulnerable. An achievement I am proud of is having reached my goal of becoming an oncology clinical research monitor. I get to travel to sites and approve clinical trial initiation and monitor data results. Cool stuff!

I absolutely value human beings regardless of the health condition they may be in. My mother became ill 2 years ago and I took care of her while she was hospitalized and even when she came to live with me, I took pride in making sure she had routine baths, ate well and ensured her medications were taken as instructed by her physicians. As a Christian - I believe we are all called to serve each other in one form or another.

I left a job in Corporate America when it became clear to me that no one would care for my parents as well as I could. I studied and trained to provide the proper and necessary tools that would assist in their care and quality of life. Along the way, I fell in love with the work. Now that my familial situation has changed, I'd like to continue this work for others.
