I'm a very compassionate and loving person. I believe in helping those who is unable. I cared for my mom for 10 years before she passed. I gave her shots, gave her medication around the clock, bathed/clothed her, prepared her meals, ran errands and did her laundry etc. I also cared for my grandfather who had Alzheimer's. And a family member who had brain cancer. I loved the fact that I was able to make them smile during it all.

Here i am today a Caregiver who unconditionally loves their job and the many lives I've gotten to make an impact on. I just want to give my Clients the up most care that they deserve and Need. But the reason why I became a Caregiver is because I saw how my grandfather who was cared for in a nursing home , it was ugly. When i left there i vowed to become a caregiver and impact as many lives as i could . Also , I Had already wanted to become a Nurse and i said i wanted to first become a Caregiver to understand and test the waters to see if i could handle the Good, Bad and Ugly. My name is Ashley Tierra Johnson Fussell. I am a certified nursing assistant who loves helping others. Im certified in bathing without a battle CPR and first aid. I've volunteered at a daycare and two nursing homes. I also worked as a cna at two nursing facilities. I want to expand my knowledge and do more for those who cant do for themselves.

I have been caring for people since I was in middle school, everyday after school I had the job of taking care of my grandfather while my aunt went to work. I got very close with him and learnt a lot of things about my family i never knew thus the reason I became a caregiver. Not only do you learn a lot from your elders but the joy you bring them makes them feel so good even though they may feel so bad inside. I love seeing my patients growth, some people you get cant do anything but seeing them come out of that phase and seeing the smile on their face when they accomplish something they couldnt do before I became their caregiver is the best part of my job.Its almost like I am a proud mother watching their baby grow up and finish high school. I am most proud of overcoming my ruff childhood upbringing and making my family proud of me and being the best mother I can be for my own child. I have a three year old son who is the best thing that ever could have happen to me because he gave me a better since of responsibility when I thought I had nothing else to live for he came and changed everything. I also help my dad who is fighting vocal cord cancer with the little things he cant do which is pretty much being his voice. I am a loving person who is willing to go out of my way to help anybody in need if I am able.

I believe what makes me a great caregiver is that am caring, kind and sweet person. The thing I love about caregiving is being able to take care of people due to disease/ disorder and help one gain their strength and independence back. I love putting smiles on people faces. I have been in the medical field for about 10 years but I have had my CNA license for about 7 years now. I what I do, I enjoy helping people that needs my help I do not mind doing above and beyond things for others. I love listening to other people stories and helping them out . I failed in love with the medical field when I was about 16 years old helping my grandmother out around the house. And also my closes family members are in the medical field.

My name is Sheanequa Morris I am 29 years old I have been a CNA for 11 years. I love helping others and giving care.

I became a CNA after my grandfather fell ill to respiratory issues. After he passed away I continued my work with nursing homes, and in home care projects. I always show my client's the up most respect. I am a CNA because I remember the fear my grandfather felt as his health deteriorated, I never want anyone to feel this way, and knowing I can help them in their time of need brings me great joy.
