Caregiving is my passion it all started when I was a kid all in just wanting to fix my grandfather who had dementia and PTS . I looked after him until I finished school . As so my mom took over and I went to Cali to take on my dream full time .. I have worked with asl patients , Quadriplegic , dementia, Alzheimer's, mental health as well as kids . I started off with independent care and later moving on to facilities as well as obtaining my med tech . Later on had to go back to take care of my grandfather and mom who recently passed away now I take care of my mom and moved her out to live with me in Escondido . Now I really would like to get back to independent care one on one. I love getting to know my client and all of there values in life it will forever be my passion. Last COVID test 8/15/22

I was eleven yrs old and my grandfather was diagnose with colon cancer. I would spend my summers helping my grandmother care for my grandfather. We did it all, transfers, bathing, changing, distributing of medication and even cleaning of the colostomy bags. Even though some of the care was a little in tense, I recevied joy just knowing I was contributing to his well being. Lets be honest we all have to go down that road one day and I just want the same respect dignity and care that I provide. That was when i decided to be a caregiver. What i like about being a caregiver is that i love helping each client/resident I've ever worked for. Helping the sick/elderly that needs my help gives me happiness knowing im doing my part to help others. My personal achievement that I am proud of would be the day that I finished something that I have started which was the day I received my certification in Nurses Aid. My goal is to one day owning my own personal care home

This is easy I am a very care giving person it comes natural everyone I know says I wear my heart on my sleeve. I live helping people enjoy providing meals shopping and keeping up with meds but most of all its providing companionship and just learning about the person I am taking care of.

I am a hard worker who cares a great deal otherd, I love and helping and caring for ones that cannot care for themselves. The reason I basically got into being a CNA is because my father-in-law has Alzheimer's and cared for him for quite some time and wanted to do so for other families.

I am a loyal, dependable hardworking, friendly person. I enjoy taking care of others. Ive been working with the elderly/ young at heart adults for 5 years now. I find joy in making their lives a little easier.

hi my name is ceddrina , im 24 , my personality traits that i feel make me a great care giver are to make them feel important, everyone wants to feel important, & that's what you should do with them , treat everyday like it's their last , what attracted me to being a care giver is bc my granddaddy died of colon cancer when I was 12 so he was home on hospice & I wanted to be the one looking & taking care of him in all ways I could , so I knew then that i had an attraction to helping older people, really anyone for that matter . what i enjoy must is making them laugh , seeing that smile on their face is what gets me through my day , it's just amazing . i know im perfect for the job , i clean , cook really well , enjoy spending quality time with others & just knowing more about them , im really sweet & love to help in anyway i can .

My Grandmother was in a nursing home for a very long time I look at it like actually having a family member in a nursing homes you see things hands on a lot i treat them like there my grandparents

I am a certified CNA... leaving the facility Ive worked at for almost 7 yrs, to care for a family member on hospice. I enjoyed my job alot and loved my patients. I worked 7-3pm, full time in Carroll county , Georgia. I became a cna again (previously I was a CNA in 1983),,after living out of the country for 9 yrs. The only job I could find -( being out of the country so long) was in housekeeping at a local nursing home.I looked into a rapid cna class and worked all weekends to go to school durring the week. Finished that, and had been at the Carrollton Georgia, facility ever since. Upon leaving my job, I had alot of family members saying they'd give me their refrences. I loved my job and go back to see my residents I cared for regularly.My co-workers keep me up to date on the residents.Im good at what I do, and try to keep everything "normal" for the patient.I believe they do better at home than in a facility,And I believe whatever they can do for example(stand & pivot) they should continue doing ,because Once the patient stops -they cannot get it back. My other charges in my care, are a large horse and big dog,that I care for daily after work , in the late afternoon & evenings.
