My name is Lei-oni growing up in a big family being the second oldest of 8 siblings I have always had a passion to take care of people I love spread knowledge and teach when I am in a position to. What I enjoy about being a caregiver is creating experiences enter-acting with people from difference walks of life. I am proud of finishing my LVN program with a 3.0 grade point average, and completing my Associates degree. I am a hard working caring individual I love to make people feel happy.

My name is Ana Alvarez and I am a Certified Medical Assistant since 2007. I enjoy helping others to improve their everyday quality of life. I believe that we are advocates for people in need and whom deserve to receive proper care. All of my previous assignments, have been with direct interaction and care for others. I have been in the medical field since 1994. I love helping & caring for those who need it most. It makes me feel as if I'm extending the healing ministries of Christ (my last jobs motto). Helping those in need makes me feel like I'm put on this earth for a reason. To show compassion & understanding to those who need me at that particular time. I have recently relocated from Florida to Maryland in june 2014. I have past experience with home care in geriatrics and pediatrics. I am very compassionate ,caring and very enthusiastic about helping others. I provide light housekeeping,grooming, running errands, meal preparations, assisting to bathroom, bathing, and companionship. Family members should feel safe and secure when making the decision to leave their loved ones with a caretaker. I provide security,compassion, trustworthiness and professionalism with my experience in caregiving. This Career appeals to me because I love to work in environment that benefits humanity and that is rewarding.

Caregiving for more than 10 years and still love what I do. I love providing home caregivning sevices to those that would otherwise not be able to so. The smile on their faces is overwhelming and makes me feel I have done my job right. I have always enjoyed helping people so I know I am doing the right thing.

I think what makes a good caregiver is an honest person a compassionate person and a very patient person. I became a caregiver because I like to help people and I ended up helping my great-grandmother six months before she passed away. I was her caregiver for her cargiver for 6 months. What I like about caregiving is that, I gt to help an elderly person that needs care; they are fun to be around cause they're usually saying something thats hilariously funny; & my favorite thing, I always learn something from them... no matter how simple or small it may be. Plus, if that was my senior relative that needs care, I would want someone to be there to help my family too if I wasn't there or unable to do it. Its the greatest feeling in the world to know u were actually there for someone who needed & to kno u made all the difference in the world, even if it is just to that one person.

I became a caregiver because of a unique opprotunity to take the nursing assistant course for free with the chance to be hired on by the company afterwards. I've always liked interacting with people and been good at sales but sales wasn't what I liked doing. The idea of selling something I don't want never appiesed me, however I found that my sales experience came in handy being a cna because then I could get the residents to agree to the care they needed. That felt rewarding for me because something positive came from it rather then another piece of product in someones home. I'm very proud of the fact that I was able to step into this field with no prior experience and do well. Well enough even to turn the facilities second state inspection around to a passing grade. I enjoy working as much as I do being at home with my family and am always willing to put in extra time when asked.

I became a caregiver because I love the satisfaction you receive at the end of the day. These type patients are usually very appreciative. These are the ones that really needs us. I enjoy the medical field overall. I also enjoy being outside with my dogs, and horses.

I became a caregiver because my mother in-law was sick with kidney problems and none of her children would help get to her appointments. I love helping people and showing my client that their is someone out there that stills care and have a loving heart. That I finished school as a Medical Assistant and have a Degree also in Community health Worker. I am a great persons that loves to work and enjoy helping others, am dedicated and easy to get alone with, love people, hard worker.

I am a caregiver because I am compassionate, professional and have a great concern for the well being of others. I love to see them smile when something they want to do gets done.my personal achievement is in the rearing of four successful children and being able to aide them with their families. I have always desired to be in the Health Care Field, graduating with an associate degree in medical assisting nothing fulfills me more that that one on one connection. Professional, prompt, knowledgeable in many aspects of activities of daily living.
