I am very loyal, protective, intuitive, and caring. I have 21 plus years experience in caregiving. Being a caregiver is not for everyone, but what sets me apart from most is I am a natural empath. Working with people in general requires a natural nurturer; which I am. Helping people young or old allows me to experience people on a different scale. I realised caregiving was my calling about 20 years ago. I was offered a private position and I fell in love with it. I enjoy many aspects of being a caregiver. Everyone is different, so I enjoy learning new things about people. I can honestly say I find it fascinating to have the opportunity to help people from all walks of life. I also am proud to say it takes a special individual to overcome adversities and have a positive outlook even after difficult or complicated experiences.

I am a compassionate and reliable caregiver with both personal and professional experience. My caregiving journey began with my grandmother, whom I cared for through COPD and heart failure until she passed. That experience taught me patience, empathy, and the importance of treating every person with dignity. It also inspired me to continue this path. I have two years of experience caring for disabled individuals, supporting daily living needs, mobility, medication reminders, and providing a steady, comforting presence. Building trust and helping people feel safe and supported is what I enjoy most about this work. I am currently in school for nursing because I want to deepen my skills and continue helping others in a meaningful way. I first became a caregiver when I started taking care of my aging parents. It was imperative to me that they were comfortable, healthy, and happy. I was educated in a lot of things but none of those things satisfied me as much as caring for people who couldn't properly care for themselves. I knew from that satisfaction that, being a caregiver and companion was a gift that I possessed. I do realize that by keeping a genuine smiling face, my co-worker are more drawn to me, and patients are more trusting of me and the care that I provides. At the age of 17, my mother was diagnosed with a neurological disease. After graduating from high school, the only noble and ethical thing to do was to care for her at home. At this tender age, I became a caregiver without a certification or license. I took impeccable care of her until she expired. Through those trying times I realize my heart for caring was more than I thought. I enjoy the look on a resident's face as if to say, "You have been a tower of strength through all this", or my co-worker saying " Great job Nurse A". I am so proud that after my mother's passing I did not keep my God given gift to myself , instead I went back to school and became a licensed care -giver to serve others with excellence.

I have been a caregiver for 16 years from California to Georgia, the passion I give with my care can not be beat. I have skills and techniques that set me a part from other caregivers and I do things with my clients not for them and not forcefully. I stayed with her, assisting bed baths, ADL, dialysis etc at the very age of 16. I learned about care giving, As time progressed in dedication of care of her. However, after her demise, I felt it was my duty and passion to be there for others. So I became attracted to the field of caregiving and patient care. What I enjoy most about care giving is the outcome of the individuals. and his or her progress of regaining strength, amongst good health, overcoming there situation.
