I became a caregiver because I love and enjoy working with people(seniors). I'm very patient and compassionate. My greatest achievement and goal is to see a smile on my clients face, and that makes me happy.

As a recent graduate of New Horizons Medical Instutitue I am looking to use the knowledge that I have acquired I have certifications in: Certified Patient Care Technician Certified Nurse Aide Certified Clinical Medical Assistant Certified Phlebotomy Technician Certified EKG Technician Certified CPR and AED Certified Heartsaver First Aidw I was inspired to go to school to have the skills for entering the medical field because of working as a home care provider for an elder couple. That experience and the time spent doing my internship has given me the abilities to do this job. . During my time as a caregive I prepared meals, did laundry, cared for oxygen canisters, cleaned and bandaged open wounds, dressed and undressed the patient do to arm weakness.

I became a caregiver because I love helping people. People never think that you can change a person day by just having a warm smile,friendly ear. I like being a caregiver because I like helping. My personal achievement is my grandmother helping her to bounce back from a stroke and able to get back to her daily routine with just a little help. I am out going, friendly, dependable.

Just be myself and realize that I am there to do more than just a job. This is a great way to build rapport with seniors. Always be empathetic and put myself into their shoes, understand what they are thinking or feeling , try to understand what barriers they are experiencing in their lives. To take my time when I am explaining things, break them up into smaller parts, lastly to explain them what I am doing and why I am doing it.

Part of my job as a caregiver is to be patient and treat my patients with love and care. I'm bilingual, I speak English and Spanish.

I love being around elderly people because I was raised by my grandparent and I care so much about them, when they passed I decided to be a caregiver, I love everything about my job, being a caregiver am so proud of making people feel loveable, safely, and make me achieved much love for myself. Am very honest person, trustworthy, smart, enthusiastic, friendly, funny, reliable and love to be around people

I became a caregiver when I took after my mummy when she had stroke, it was my achievement, lifting her up, taking her toilet, making sure she take her denture every morning, then I had a passion on the job.

People describe me as cheerful and always having a smile ! I have always loved being a caregiver. I noticed first when I was 13 years old and had to take care of my mom dying leukemia . Then my grandmother and then I decided that I want to take care of people. People always tell me that I should have been a therapist because I help ease their pain physically as well as mentally
