I was a preschool teacher for 23 years. My responsibilities were to teach and nurture the children that were in my care. I took care of my father who was dying of pancreatic cancer. I also took care of my husband needs he had many medical issues.

I enjoy helping clients make the best of their situation . At a young age around 19 years old , I was given the responsibility to provide care for my grandparents. My parents weren't able to afford a caregiver back then. I chose to become a caregiver for them till their last breath. I learnt that , Everyday I am reminded that health is fragile and Life is fleeting. I chose becoming a caregiver to remind me all the beautiful things I was able to do for my grandparents.

I think I do great in taking care of my patients, follow their needs and their directions, and make personal connection through asking questions with them, and know what they needs by looking at their body language ,learning from them, and love them, l have a lot of experiences with my jobs through hard working and follow orders, I listen to them, try to find what they need , knowing what they need is a good feeling

I am a very dedicated, reliable, responsible, and passionate person. The elderly have a soft place in my heart. My grandmother was diagnosed with stage three cancer five years and ever since then, it has been my goal to do my best give back to the elderly community the I can.

I am very patient with people & have a lot of compassion in my work. I tend to listen more to people. I'm attentive especially with helping people. I'm very caring & anyone can depend on me. I treat my clients as if they are apart of me. When I was very young around 16, I took care of my great grandfather who had very bad dementia. It made me fall in love to just help these elderly people. My grandparents are so far from me but being a caregiver for the elderly makes them fell near. I just love to help, it is something I can't get enough of that's why I've worked as a caregiver over 3 years. The best achievement I'm proud of is that I can help people be themselves & it makes me feel at ease that I do my work carefully & that my clients are happy & positive as a result of my help

I started as a caregiver in California in 2006. I moved to Las Vegas in March of 2007 and been here since. I received my license as a Certified Nursing Assistant from the College of Southern Nevada in February, 2012. Based on my experiences as a caregiver, now a CNA, I feel rewarded and blessed everyday that I have the compassion, empathy and care for the young and old who are in need of daily care. My greatest achievement since becoming a caregiver was to get licensed to become a Certified Nursing Assistant. Sorry only picture with my daughter...young one. I feel it is essential that a great caregiver feel the desire to want to help. By showing both empathy and compassion, a caregiver will let the person know that they care about them. For instance, they will try and do what they can to help - not because they have to, but because they want to.
