My life is built around love and compassion. I have worked in healthcare for 17+ yrs, with some of my my most memorable moments in elderly care. I have worked anywhere from, home health, hospice, memory care, assistant administrator, etc. I have spent the last 5 yrs as a stay at home mom raising my children. I love working with our elderly community because they have lived and know a life, we will never know. I love to listen to their history, how they were raised, and see them through different eyes. Laugh and smile with them. They were once young just as you and I.

My favorite thing about caregiving is getting to know families and building relationships with them! I started in caregiving because i love helping and taking care of people.

I've been in a caregiving roll of some sort almost my entire life. I love what I do and have a passion for it. I love being of service to others. I had a gentleman I cared for that had trouble moving his feet and was extremely tall...I asked him if he liked to dance and he responded that he loved to...I said let me lead and he was able to get around with my help so much better. ...proud moment of problem solving.

Hi my name is Machozi. I wanted to let you know a little about my professional background. I have a total of 7 year experience working with people with mental, physical disability and autism. I have worked with both children and adults. I do have a resume that do explain my qualifications in details if you would like that I would gladly send it to you and/or drop it in person sometime. I ensure the health and social well-being of child with autism provided assistance with activities of daily living including grooming, toileting, and communication skills. *As with most things in life, home care needs may change and unexpected events can happen. A good caregiver will be prepared to go with the flow, being flexible, so that they continue to provide good home care, even if a rigid schedule isn't being followed. * I enjoy working with people and most enjoy jobs where I have one-on one interaction with others. I like making someone smile and doing little things to make a person' day better. *I take pride in the achievements of children. Iam most proud in those moments when i see a child overcome any circumstance and be happy doing what they love most.

I have been a caregiver/med tech for the past two years. I started in Meridian Idaho at Alpine Meadows Assisted Living as a night shift caregiver I then moved to Jerome Idaho and got a job as a swing caregiver in Twin Falls at Chardonnay Assisted Living. I still work for Chardonnay in Twin, but not as often. The reason I don't work at Chardonnay as often as I used to is because I gave birth to my first daughter nine months ago. I would rather be home with her then away from her. My boss works with me and she calls me about once a month to see if I can work a few shifts in a week. I usually work it out with my husband because he works the 4 AM shift at Costco. I started caregiving because my dad was in desperate need of a noc shift caregiver for his assisted-living. I wasn't planning on going into caregiving, but it was better pay than what I was getting for what I was doing. What I enjoy most about caregiving is the connection you make with your residents. That is my favorite thing. You can form friendships with them and some of them may not have family that live close by so they don't get to see their family every day so you become like family to them and I really love that.

I am currently attending college to further my education in Nursing. I have always loved helping other people. I am a very trustworthy, compassionate, and great companion. In the meanwhile of finishing school, I wanted to care for others.

What really helps me be a great caregiver is my love for helping others, I love being a caregiver because there are a lot of people in the world that needs to depend on another person to get by in life and I want to help some of those people because when its my turn to get help I want to be taken care off well. Hi my names Queana I am 20 years old and am a Dedicated and passionate provider of elder care. I like to give and show companionship and comfort for our senior citizen residents of assisted living and memory care communities. I am very reliable, very patient, and very professional when responding to residents needs. I love to make sure every resident or client has a smile on there face from the time I walk through the door and further on by when I leave.

I have been working as a Certified Nursing Assistant for almost four years and have worked with a multitude of individuals with different medical issues. I have always had a natural desire to help others and I knew from a very young age that I was going to be in the medical field. Becoming a CNA was one of the greatest things I have done because it has allowed me to not only help others, but it has also taught me a lot. I am a very compassionate, understanding, and patient individual who is quick to adapt to new environments. I absolutely love this job and I want to continue working as a CNA while I am in Nursing School this year.

I'm a very easy to get along with others, with a great personality person. The love for my lord and helping other is what attracted me to do for others. making a difference in their lives is what makes me be proud to be a caregiver....im proud of making our seniors enjoy life to their fullness....Making then feel love, care and independent .

I have been doing home health physical therapy since graduating in 2016 with my P.T. assistant degree of applied science. I see the needs and struggles of seniors and implementation of in home care to keep them happy and in their home is an important thing. I still do home health physical therapy so I would be unavailable until late afternoons.

I am in my element when I am caregiving! I'm the oldest of six siblings and a mother of two girls, so it's in my nature to care for and successfully assist those who need an extra helping hand. I pride myself on my patience I've manifested over the years of working as a caregiver with clients with cognitive disabilities. One of my favorite things about working as a caregiver is giving anything I can to help someone's life be a little easier. When working with clients with cognitive disabilities, I really enjoyed getting to know everyone's different wants, needs and personalities. I see myself as a bit of a chameleon because I can adapt to any situation and personality there is and can adjust to changes that might arise.
