I became a CNA in 1992 my goal was to continue school to become a RN. Things did not really work to my advantage. One reason I became a CNA is to help anyway possible people in general. I enjoy working with people and helping them best I can. I have worked in Cila Homes, Hospitals and Nursing Homes. I am a good worker and can take criticism to better my task. Presently I work for CTA I am only looking for something to supplement my current income. This position I am looking for must work around my CTA schedule.

To help seniors, I think of most seniors as my grandparents. I treat the in the same respect as my elders. That's how I was raised. I work with quite a few in my church and some have dementia, a few use walkers but more than that they really want someone to listen and spend time with them. I am patient, compassionate and enjoy serving others, so for me being a caregiver is a great fit.

I am an excellent caregiver because i make sure to treat my patients just like family and show them love compassian, make them feel good about their self. I cook, clean, wash them, take to restroom, give medicine daily on a scheduled time, and most importantly i show them attention. I am great company to be around. Im smart, funny, loving and kind, strong (physical and emotionally), and i am also religous (christian). I am mature and responsible enough to care for someone i dont know. Its just a passian of mine to care for others!

I became a caregiver because I loved being around my grandparents. Everyday was different. Not just working with seniors but with their families as well. As a caregiver I am apart of your family. I am a good listener, nurturer and enjoy serving others. I am the nanny of the family I love life and treating others the way I want to be treated. Looking after loved ones is a caring and delicate responsibility. That's why I'm the right one for the family.

I am An individual who is very companionate , loving , effectionate, patient, caring, understandable, easy to talk to, self motivated, driven, and able. Being in a health care setting for so long I have become very adaptive when it comes to different consumers. Working with different comsumers benefits me in a way because now I know how to deal with different types of people. What attracted me to becoming a caregiver was just me as a person having it in me to care for others. I was always the kind of woman that cared for others and put other people first. Helping others is a natural priority. The best thing about being a caregiver is being able to care for someone you know appreciates you and values your company. A personal achievement I can proudly say I have accomplished would be when I became employee of the month at Greenwood Care for the Month of April in 2016. This was a accomplishment I can say I am proud of because it's a very difficult thing for a person to feel appreciated in a big work place. I am proud because my hard work was recognized and I felt very appreciated.

I am a very dependable,well organized young woman , who always does what is told in a professional and kind manner to the greatest of my abilities and fullest to put a smile on the person or people that I'm helping faces.

I am very skilled in CNA/patient care tech areas. I enjoy helping others feel independent as much as possible. I have always wanted to be a caregiver because I come from a family of healthcare professionals. I am very proud of being employee of the month at my last job.

I became a caregiver to help those who are in need of assistance. I really enjoy every aspect if the job you help give life, options and security to people. While caregiving I accomplished my undergrad!!:) I love and enjoy this career to the fullest its very satisfying,with this career I feel a sense of accomplishment and self worth.
