I have been working in a caregiver position, and healthcare field, since the age of 14. I love the work, helping in any way I can. I've worked with a variety of clients, men and women.

I love what I do. I love taking care of people. I'm smart, kind, honest, and a very sweet person. I have been working in the healthcare field for 16 years now and I love it. I'm very well trained in what I do. I take care of my clients as if they were my own Mom or Dad. I'm never late, always on time and willing to do what ever I can to help my client. I have worked for North Shore Hospital for almost seven years now as an on-call caregiver. I enjoy taking care my patients when I am there and I love how their faces light up with a bright smile when I walk into the room. I love listening to their stories. I enjoy all the time I spent with my clients, we have a great time together.

I'm 35 years of age, I have been doing caregiver's work for 11 years. I enjoy taking pride in my work and make family with residents. I treat each and everyone of my residents with respect and dignity. Regardless of their diseases they may have. At the end of the day they're still human. I have gained many of friendship with my residents. I became a caregiver when my grandmother became sick and we took turns caring for her. It made me look at life totally different. I care for my clients as if I would want someone to care for myself,or my mom. What I enjoy most is how happy my residents be when they see me and greet me by name that let's me know I'm doing something right. Cause even though they have dementia they are still able to remember my name. That let me know I left a mark on their heart. So a smile goes a long way.

I took care of my grandmother until she passed. my grandmother left this earth with her dignity and respect because i would tell her she took care of me now its my turn to care for her . i take great pride in helping people that cannot care for themselves for what ever reason. i am a very kind and friendly person.

I became a caregiver in 2006 my first client was my grandmother when she needed full time care. That's when I knew that caring for people in need was my calling.
